With the rumours that have surfaced lately about Avengers 3. They say that the first half of Avengers 3 will feature secondry characters and then the second film will have the main characters back. But where is The Hulk while this is happening. Here is where I think The Hulk is.
I think The Hulk will do something so terrible in Avengers 2 that in the end-credit scene I think The Hulk will be blasted off into space by Iron Man. This could create a Hulk standalone movie using the storyline Planet Hulk. He could do everything that he does in the Planet Hulk storyline and then on his way back he meets The Guardians of The Galaxy and they explain to him what is happening.
The Guardians of The Galaxy explain what is happening and then they go to Earth and help The Avengers in their battle against Thanos. Hulk will help them win and will be credited as a hero again and will be an Avenger once more.
But, what if it all goes wrong? Well, if it does Hullk would be killed to protect the Human race. Then, that will set up the character Skaar.
Either way, any of these theories could be true. It just depends what Joss Whedon wants to do with his Avengers film.
