Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was a lot of fun but an argument could be made that it didn't add a whole lot to the Harry Potter mythos. It did, however, set the stage for a whole new story to be launched and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will deliver on that in a big way by revealing much more about Gellert Grindelwald's (romantic?) relationship with Jude Law's Albus Dumbledore.

Now, Entertainment Weekly has celebrated the upcoming release of the movie with a very cool cover and a brand new batch of stills offering a fresh look at pretty much every lead character in the sequel.

There aren't any spoilers here but we're left with plenty to talk about and the captions accompanying each image also shed a lot of light on the direction director David Yates and writer J.K. Rowling is taking the franchise in. So, to check out this new content, simply click on the "View List" button down below.

"Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) in the basement of his London workshop that has a refuge for injured magical creatures."

"Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) at Hogwarts, where he teaches Defense Against the Dark Arts."

"Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) holds an audience spellbound in an amphitheater beneath the Lestrange Mausoleum."

"Leta Lestrange (Zoe Kravitz), currently engaged to Thesesus, re-visits her desk at Hogwarts which hints at her close former relationship with Newt."

"Newt and his older brother Theseus (Callum Turner) draw wands at Pere Lachaise Cemetery."

"Vinda Rosier (Poppy Corby-Tuech), an ally of Grindelwald’s from a prestigious wizarding family."

"Jacob Kowolski (Dan Fogler), with a Leucrotta on his shoulder."

"Newt and auror Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston) re-team and explore the French Ministry of Magic Records Room."

"Tina’s mind-reading sister Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol) has a mysterious purpose in Paris."

"Nagini (Claudia Kim), a circus performer with a blood curse, and troubled Credence Barebone (Ezra Miller), huddle on a Parisian rooftop."
