For reasons unknown, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) will ask Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to track down the notorious Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp), which should make for an incredibly exciting adventure as Newt recruits a number of his friends to help him in quest to bring down one of the most dangerous wizards in history. However, with three more films on the docket after this chapter, it's hard to imagine we'll get a resolution to the Dumbledore/Grindelwald story by the time the credits roll.

As we count down the days to the highly-anticipated film, Warner Bros. has released over one-hundred ultra hi-resolution stills from the David Yates-directed sequel. To make them all easier to view, we'll be sharing them in six batches of twenty, so be sure to check out the third batch today and keep visiting CBM all week for even more enchanting new photos.

At the end of the first film, the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise wizards and witches up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald's plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

I think it is hilarious that Eddie Redmayne looks like Owen Wilson when he is under water.
