Looks like I managed to swipe another bit of information of twitter this evening, looks like Ray park will be returning for GI Joe 2, at least there is one good thing about this film that is coming back. Anyway, Ray Park tweets:

Good news all! As u might have guessed, I'm coming back to play Snake Eyes for the sequel of G.I JOE, directed by Jon Chu;)

To be honest I don't really believe the part about the 'Good script'. Anyway guys, what do you think about this...?

Thats cool, but I thought we knew that??

SCARLET should be back but the rest sucked!

STORM SHADOW too was good, but COBRA COMMANDER was a complete pi$$ take!

If COBRA isn't actually in the sequel... dont bother making it!

actually we haven't folks. We knew the director wrote snake eyes into the script, not that Ray Park was returing. NOW it is confirmed.

nice!.... i liked it way better then Transformers 2. to me it was just entertainment...kind of like a cheap prostitute...lol

@Helagood: Yeah except the fact it had gi joes fighting bad guys, snake eyes and storm shadow fighting, cobra, destro, knowledge is half the battle etc. :)

really, everyone is mad a Cobra Commander in the movie, geez, that was the least of problems with that epic piece of crap movie. Snake eyes in a rubber costume with weird lip shapes, for fugs sake he is a ninja. They successfully made a movie that defecated on a great brand. Fuggin people....

Ray Park was the best thing about that movie. Storm Shadow was second. Scrap the rest and start from scratch.

Hey how about a Serpentor sighting? May as well. it couldn't hurt.

I couldn't remember how awful Cobra's plastic see-thru, JasonX mask looked. So I looked it up and realized for the first time that he was played by joseph gordon levitt? lol wtf? I must have been laughing to hard to notice.

But I can't wait for this! They should add my favorites in there like... lol I can't keep a straight face. I could care less. I can't believe they're making a sequel. But then again, they made Hoodwinked 2, so I guess anything is possible.

I agree with Ven0m. Snakes eyes and storm shadow were the best part of the movie.

I met Ray Park last year at MegaCon (got his autograph!) he's a really cool dude to talk to. Down to Earth and all. He's definitely badass as SnakeEyes.

I don't want to another guy to ask why is this being made, but...

Snake Eyes was one of the fraction of elements that made Rise of Cobra semi-watchable. But, if this does some how make it to movie screens, please don't give him lips. Almost had Snake Eyes down pat, until I saw the weird lips...

Dennis quaid looked so bored with his role. At one point it looked like he was about to bust up laughing.

Strangely enough though, what I thought would be the worst part about the movie; Damon Wayons, actually turned out to be way better than I ever imagined. His little thing with the chick kinda worked. Then we got a big eared destro with SyFy channel FX and Cobra Commander wearing a plastic bag on his head.
