About a month ago (before my hiatus) I took the time to come up with a new Green Lantern character. Along with him, I came up with his planet, species, and a few other species from the planet as well. This contest will be focusing on the main player, Kayl’r Dreq II. I have a rather in depth description as to what I think this character should look like with help from a good friend of mine who had some ideas to kind of flesh out the details involved.

HERE -- depicting the following character in whatever form you would like, stand alone, action, whatever comes to mind. The winner will be chosen by myself based on the criteria set forth, as well as the mental picture I have of the character I have created. The winner will receive some swag from CBM.com as well as a Green Lantern figure from my own personal collection. Along with that, the chosen artwork will be featured in my regular series I will be doing with the character. The Balorn average lifespan is about 650 Earth years.
The colors will be that of a tree, with Gray, Brown and Green being the primaries.
1.) 3 – 5m in height with a median weight of around 450kg.
2.) They have 7 legs which spread out like an umbrella at their base. In between these legs there is a membrane which (like bat wings) travel about halfway down.
3.) 4 arms. 2 front, 2 backside. The front arms somewhat shorter and exaggerate the length of the back.
4.) The hands themselves have 4 extremely long finger-like obtrusions along with 2 opposable thumbs on either side of the palm with a single large eye in the middle.
5.) They have no mouth, ears or noses, but there is a 5th eye directly between the 2 frontal arms, where the “chest” would generally be.
6.) The frame should be like a tree trunk, with it tapering off at the top into a smaller trunk about a meter or so above the arms.
7.) These creatures reproduce asexually, so there is a small sac on top of their frames. The sac should be ovular, horizontally positioned, translucent green and you should be able to see small ball-like spores on the inside; around 6-8 total.
This is as detailed as it gets, anything that is missing from this description you can really flesh out on your own, I want the general idea to be followed, but as for exacting details, it’s up to you. So, aside from just the main character, you may also flesh out other characters/species of your choosing, I have no real detail to give you on those aside from what is already posted. It doesn't have the same detailed description, but it can give you a general idea of things that you may want to draw with the character; Locations, other species/characters etc.
