While we saw a crazy international spot earlier this week, Paramount Pictures has now released the first official domestic teaser for the eagerly-awaited Scream. This promo reveals a few snippets of new footage as we get to see Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) do her best to track down the dangerous new Ghostface, who seems to be a step ahead of everyone.
Joining Campbell are her two longtime franchise co-stars Courteney Cox and David Arquette, who are both set to return as Gale Weathers and Dewey Riley, while Marley Shelton will reprise her Scream 4 role as Sheriff Judy Hicks and Roger L. Jackson is back as the legendary voice of Ghostface.
The new cast features Melissa Barrera (Vida; Dos Veces Tú) as Sam Carpenter, Dylan Minnette (Prisoners; 13 Reasons Why) as Wes Hicks, Jasmin Savoy Brown (The Leftovers; For The People) as Mindy Meeks-Martin, Jenna Ortega (Jane the Virgin; Iron Man 3) as Tara Carpenter, Jack Quaid (The Boys; The Hunger Games) as Richie Kirsch, Mason Gooding (Booksmart; Love, Victor) as Chad Meeks-Martin, newcomer Sonia Ammar as Liv McKenzie, Mikey Madison (Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood; Better Things) as Amber Freeman, and Kyle Gallner (Smallville; American Sniper) as Vince.
Radio Silence duo Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not) directed the fifth installment with a screenplay from James Vanderbilt (Zodiac; The Amazing Spider-Man) and Guy Busick (Ready or Not; Castle Rock). Franchise creator Kevin Williamson is onboard as an executive producer.
