Well, I am going to try this once again. This time I hope it will be a proper review of this topic.
I just got done watching Iron-Man 2 and all the extras on blu-ray(it only took me two days) I must say for the most part I was happily surprised with the whole second disc of extras in general. What really was disappointing was the Shield Vault on the first disc.

At first, it was weird to figure out how to interact with it (it took me a minute or so to get use to using my ps3 DVD remote). Once I did, it was a piece of cake. There are many different interaction sections. The first is a mini movie clip section of scenes from the movie that give you some detail and background on certain things within the movie.

The next interactive section is a character bio page. This is where I begin to have problems with the "Vault." There are some pages that give just a name and picture but all other information is labeled "Classified." Not even a little bit of back story from what we all know from the comics or the first movie let alone other movies that have tied into both I.M(Iron-Man)1&2. (For example both Hulk movies.)

The next section is Howard Stark's storage box. The things that you find in there are kind of cool and some are just puzzling unless you can get the tie-in (which I think I did on the two things.)

Now here is where I really have the biggest problem of them all! We all know that Thor is the next movie to come out, and Cap is to follow that. Yes Howard Stark had more to do with Cap, but wait, don't you think that Marvel would want to hype both movies? There is a section in the bio page named Captain America that is totally "Classified."

The section under Agent Coulson and New Mexico is also "Classified." Yet at the end of I.M.2 we all saw the Thor preview. So what gives? I think that Marvel really dropped the ball here and could have set up both movies nicely with some much needed pre-hype.

Not only that, but we all remember that map in the background with the points of interest on it right? It does not even show up other than in the background of video clips and Pictures.

Well, all, there you go just one man's thoughts. If you saw the the "Vault" let me know what you think. If you didn't I hope I didn't spoil it for you. Later.

I think that they have those empty spots cause they are gonna update it as time goes on through BD-LIVE. Also, I am pretty sure the Thor footage will be on the blu ray through a hidden easter egg or through BD_LIvE. I have the blu ray too and can find the featurette on the making of the after credit scene. Do u know where it is?

If I remember right it was in one of the featurette's on disc 2. I had to watch the whole thing and just stumbled across it.

The only Cap footage was the shield blueprints and the first few pages of a Captain America comic book in Howard Stark's box. The Thor footage is on the second disc I just can't remember where, it's only like 5 minuets long and only shows the hammer in the crater along with Agent Coulson talking about the shooting so far.

I was trying some kind of sequence unlock last night. Going to the shield scene, and than visiting steve rogers dossier. Didn't work, but you get some kind of an idea. I tried a bunch of different things, none of which worked. my ps3 controller finally died, so I gave up.

If you go to the 'Steve Rogers' dossier and select it, everything says classified. But if you push your cursor to the right, there's a little easter egg of Howard Stark granting you security clearance "CAC184" and describing a device called a "Heat Pod" for survival in the arctic.

Stark looks about the same age as in his footage promoting the 1974 Stark Expo, so I think we can assume this Heat Pod wasn't used by Cap himself. Perhaps it'll be used to revive him? I'm starting to think they might be planning on reviving Cap around the 70's era like in the comics, and since he doesn't age normally he'd be a seriously hardened Avenger by the time Tony and Bruce come onto the scene. Just a theory. Or maybe the Pod is just a sneak peak at a potential Avengers gadget...

One of the security levels in another easter egg was "616" (the continuity of the mainstream Marvel Universe is also referred to as Earth-616) which gave me a laugh, but I'm not sure what CAC184 might refer to.

Any other Cap fans care to weigh in on what these tidbits might mean for the movie?

You wont see any Cap footage because there is none to see. The movie is just now being shot.

The Easter Eggs sort of have an easter egg hidden within them.

When you view the easter egg for Steve Rogers' Dossier the video says "you have been given security clearance CAC1A4" (lots of people thought it said 184 but listen carefully. Anyway, this "security clearance" is just saying "Captain America Comics #1 (first Captain America), Avengers 4 (revival of Captain america who then joins avengers).

Same thing with the other security codes in the easter eggs.

JIM83 = Journey Into Mystery #83. (First Thor)

TOS57 = Tales of Suspense # 57. (First Hawkeye)

Hope this helps. Word
