Good morning and Happy Easter.  As many of you know, I have been a devoted fan of Zack Snyder’s films for many years, and have stated repeatedly, almost unceasingly that his DC films are some of of the best films DC has given us in live action, as well as some of the best Comic Book Movies of all time. I have stated that they have given us a Superman who uses his abilities to help others because he wants to, and who can find hope even in absolute despair. I have repeatedly praised Zack Snyder’s decision to give concrete reasons for Batman to follow his rules against killing by showing the audience, and Batman himself what he becomes if he doesn’t consider them important. Finally I have praised him for giving us a Wonder Woman who has seen the worst of humanity, but was still so devoted to protecting humanity that she resolved never to raise her sword against him. It is with a humble and grateful heart that I state that I have seen the error of my support for the DC Films Cinematic Universe.

I realize that when Clark’s mother saved him when he was in grade school, it was just for the sake of having a flashback. I realize that when Jonathan Kent followed up “maybe” with “There’s more at stake here than just our lives, Clark, or the lives of those around us”, it was extra lines to fill screen time. There was nothing to them. I realize that when Jor El talked about the family crest his words “Embodied within that hope is the potential for every person to be a force for good.” They were to misdirect from Zack Snyder’s “Making a Murderer” of Superman. I realize that the Jesus imagery was genuine and that he believes Jesus is a selfish, emo, bloodthirsty, mass murdering sociopathic amoral villain and his hatred of Jesus was reflected in his destruction of Superman.

I realize that all of the images of Batman being consumed by a monster had no place in the overall narrative of Batman v Superman and it was all about Zack Snyder reimagining Batman as The Punisher and Superman as Dr. Manhattan. I realize that the death of the people in Nairomi and the Capitol bombing were to justify Superman’s lack of faith in humanity, and that when he returned from the dead, Justice League was going to be a story of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman joining forces with Cyborg, The Flash, Aquaman and Darkseid to destroy the Earth and Superman was going to take Lois as his queen as the ruler of New Apocalypse.

Most importantly, after seeing Wonder Woman multiple times, I finally see that Patty Jenkins tried to patch holes in the sinking ship by completely ripping off Captain America: The First Avenger, but there’s no saving it without a complete reboot. I concede that 51 of you were correct and I was wrong.

With this conclusion, I know many of you, who have seen me in the comments section are thinking "She's almost overzealously devoted to Zack Snyder's DC Films. There is no way in Hell she would say any of this” and you are absolutely 100% correct. I really didn't. Click the link.

In all seriousness, I could never denounce Zack Snyder's DC Films. I am planning on posting real editorials over the next few months with varying subjects, like the problems in fandoms, what most people miss in Zack Snyder’s DC Films, what I would add to them, how Warner Bros. shot themselves in the foot, by trying to "fix" Suicide Squad and Justice Leauge, etc. Be on the look-out for a poll regarding my most ambitious of these, “The History of the DC Films Cinematic Universe” inspired by Marv Wolfman’s “History of the DC Universe” in the next few days.

Lol. Happy April Fools. While I disagree with you a lot, I will say I think I would have preferred a Snyder Justice League to what we got.

@noahthegrand - I wholeheartedly agree. Honestly most of what I put in there especially the parts about Clark's mother saving him are reasons why I consider Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, and Wonder Woman to be, not only the best DC Films, but three of DC's best films, period. As well as the best Comic Book movies of all time.

@noahthegrand - I believe Zack Snyder's Justice League would have revolutionized the superhero team film, and would have been so much more inspirational than the Frankenstien's monster that Warner Bros. gave us.

That was profound...

@Forthas - None of it's true though. Seroiusly. If you believe that Superman would be taking over the world by the end of Zack Snyder's Justice League, you need to pay closer attention to Snyder's films. That was an alternate timeline.

By the way, plot twist. I'm not in the matrix. You are.

@Forthas - I was just joking with my article above. I don't believe most of it. Imagine what I can do when I believe what I'm saying.

New levels... The link doesn't work tho - was it a rick roll? Tell me it was a rick roll.

I do think the editorials are a good idea though. You've got a lot you need to get out.
