Superman/Batman: Public Enemies Back Cover Reveals Upcoming Crisis On Two Earths Animated Film

Details regarding what type of story it will be are non existent, as usual. Confirmation that this is in the works is a great thing.

This is some sweet news, as if the upcoming Superman/Batman: Public Enemies wasn't sweet enough. MTV is reporting that on the back cover of that DVD, D.C. has announced the next title of there line up of animated films to hit shelves and it is "Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths."



This from MTV news:

"Details regarding the film are scarce at this point, though World's Finest points out that Dwayne McDuffie is attached as the writer for the upcoming feature. McDuffie's animated writing credits include "Justice League Unlimited" and "Teen Titans." He also created the animated series "Static Shock" and wrote several issues of the "Justice League of America" comic book."

After the last JLA cartoon ended it's run on Cartoon Network I felt incomplete. They could have done way more with that series then they did. So this news is great as it means D.C. felt the same way and is bringing more JLA to DVD/Blu-Ray for us to enjoy.

Is it gonna' be a take on Crisis On Infinite Earths? That was a great story. That was also when all the Charlton characters (Capt. Atom, Blue Beetle,..etc) were worked into the DCU.

Seriously, I agree! When will Flash get his movie!? Of any kind!? Whether its Wally or whichever - Flash deserves more attention than he gets. But Crisis will be neat-o to behold, I'm sure!

Yes, some decent Flash treatment is in order. Along with a tall glass of fix the animated WW debaucle.

I used to watch the JLA on cartoon network with my boys. I didnt catch it all the time and didnt see the end ones nor have i really read a comic in 12 years so can some one enlighten me on what crisis is?

JMAN---i dont want to be harsh or anything because i like all the articles you posted but i already posted something like this 2 days ago..it's in the "news" section under

and i belive i know what the story is going to be about

justice league :crisis on 2 earths...is going to be based on..a story by by dwayne mcduffy called
"worlds collide"..its a story about the JLA going up against the CRIME SYNDICATE of AMERICA..who is really an "EVIL" version of the justice league...they did something like this in "batman:the brave and bold" cartoon

Crime Syndicate is about a secret 3 way between Owlman, Ultra man and Supergirl ( Lois Lane in this world ) Cept Ultaman has to pretend he don't know about the Owlman and his girl. Oh yeah the flash is a tweaker and green Lantern is Guy the GL Batman punches out in are universe, well acts like him anyway.

As for Marvel.. Marvel Zombies, Civil War or House of M

I'm expecting Marvel to work on bringing out World War Hulk once Planet Hulk has been released

Some of the animated features I would like to see :-D.. The possibilities....

I really liked the Earth2 stuff

Alex Luthor was pretty awesome, the whole premis really. The only disappointment for me was owlman. Cool character, but his name sucks. I thought it would've been pretty clever to call him Knight Owl, to kind of play on the dark knight angle and give a nod to Alan Moore. But no. Owlman it is.

Why does he suck???

In my opinion the story was unique and different from other heroes. I always thought it was Luke Cage meets Spider-Man.


Also there should be a Batman Beyond Movie DAMN IT!!

Static Shock was cooler when he grew up and joined the JL with Green Lantern and Hawkgirls kid Warhawk. But he was more like Bow Wow meets Spider-Man.
