Made from 100% Cotton, this charcoal-gray t-shirt features an image of the simple-in-it's-aesthetic, but monumentally deadly, Dalek, colored chaotically with yellow, painted beads and red, splattered strokes! Oh, and check out their catchphrase, "Exterminate," rendered as if spray-painted across the Dalek's studded, color-slapped chassis. The Dalek race of singular minded, murder-bots is Doctor Who's absolute opposite number, existing to extinguish life, while Doctor who makes every attempt conceivable (beyond the soft lattice of physics, most times) to perpetuate existence. Yes, the Daleks and Doctor Who are, shall we say....incompatible. In every, conceivable way. Of course, you're a fan of wanton destruction brought about by alien robots shooting destructive beams out of what appears to be a....french horn? Yeah, so this is a t-shirt for the Dalek fans....who happen to maybe like that bumbling, vagrant biped, Doctor Who.

Look guys, I'm a Doctor Who fan have been for years (Duh im British) and even I have to wonder, why is Doctor Who being mentioned (On the main page no less) on a comic book movie website? Also I hate to be the one whining but those shirts are old, those are from around when series 2 was out.

Theres a whole new release of shirts for season 5 that have the 11th Doc on them.

@JaySchluffy

well there was a ton of marvel dr.who comics back in the day, so that could be an excuse.look at some of the covers shown here:

http://onceuponageek.livejournal.com/256276.html

haha also to be a real nitpicky dr.who nerd, SuperHeroStuff is getting it wrong by referring to him as 'Doctor Who', he's just called 'The Doctor'. 'who' is generally what assistants and other people say when they meet him for the first time. :D

JaySchluffy:

That's why (to name a few...)! May I remind you that this is a site dedicated to COMIC BOOKS and comic book movies.

SpiderArse92 - Excellent point! He's just 'The Doctor' - "...the DEFINITE article..." (to quote him).

@jazzman & @loganoneil

I do know that doctor who has has many comics (some done by even Dave Gibbons) HOWEVER if it was an article about say Doctor Who: The Forgotten. Sure.

The fact that the TV show came first negates the comic book movie stick. Beavis & Butthead had a comic spurred on from the show, are we going to have articles about Beavis & Butthead shirts?

If doctor who were a comic first and THEN adapted into a TV show/film. I would be in the wrong. As the TV show was first, theres no movie for it to be adapted into (minus the Peter Cushing films in the 60's mind you). If the tv show is first its being adapted into comic book, rather than a comic book being adapted into a movie/show. Otherwise the site would be called "Television Comic Books".

Fair enough - does that mean the all-powerfull Galatus should eliminate all the Star Wars / Star Trek stuff on here? What about the Indiana Jones crap? How about Transformers (They were toys first, for christ's sake! OK, now with the way Michael Bay has butchered the series I wouldn't necessarily mind that...)? The point is that the list is endless. Where does it end (and more importantly, WHO gets to decide)? Just because there was something BEFORE the comic book doesn't negate it, it's just another creative outlet for the property... more building blocks for the structure! As a fan, I'd think you'd be happy about this. After all, it isn't every day that something like 'Doctor Who' becomes the longest running and biggest science fiction show on the planet (as certified by the Guinness Book of World Records)! Take that, 'Star Trek' and 'Star Wars' (and 'Stargate' for that matter!)! And while I'm at it, "Sod off, Michael Bay!!!!"

...and SUPPOSEDLY the 'word on the street' is that a 'Doctor Who' movie IS in works that will either be a separate storyline from the series, or (wait for it...) the TIME WARS (oh be still my beating hearts!)! Hope's spring is eternal...

@loganoneil

Steven Moffat & Russel T Davies have both gone on record for saying that no movie is or was in the works

(RTD's quote on SFX magazine: "Johnny f*cking Depp! Do you know what my life is these days? Someone sits in New Zealand, types out a f*cking rumor and I spend the next three days dealing with that rumor. What I get then is BBC Publicity e-mailing me, BBC Films publicity, BBC Wales publicity, all saying, 'Have you said this?' That then goes through BBC Worldwide and BBC America publicity, and I lose a f*cking morning because of some chump typing sh*t! It drives me mad.")

And in all honesty, I do get a bit confused and annoyed when I see articles about Star Wars/Star Trek/Indiana Jones/Transformers stuff on a comic book movie website. I'de be happy if say a sister site for everything pop culture media was created through CBM (Like how "Geekologie" team up with "I Watch Stuff").

I mean i'm sorry for being the grumpy git moaning here and such but it's what I think and I have been quiet for a good 3-4 years about the more and more articles that creep into CBM (and onto the front page mind you) and it has been really bugging me over the past few months.

But then again it is the internet, my opinion is as invalid much as everyone else's.

@JaySchluffy

its not about who came first Doctor Who still have a comic book. Beavis & Butthead has a comic book so it has a right to be on this site.

if u dont like that then u got to complain about articles about Aliens, Predator, Terminator, Street Fighter etc they all never had comic book first.
