In the future of CBM.com there will be ...a mobile app

I cannot be the only one that believes that a mobile app would be completely awesome. This is a very short statement on a couple reasons a mobile app is not only a good idea but the future of this site...

I am going to keep this as short as possible...I very rarely make my way to a computer to look at your supremely awesome website. The fact is that every article I've contributed to this site has been on my Android. That is why I am pleading with the creators and owners of this site to just bring us a mobile app that would make it easier and more enjoyable to the guys that don't have regular access to a computer to contribute and enjoy the site as much as those that do. Don't get me wrong I will still use the site regardless but it would just be nice.

I first got into this site because one month a magazine I really enjoyed since its inception had ceased to exist. Just poof and Wizard Magazine was gone. So I implore you to do the next logical step in the evolution of your website. So please take this into consideration and if any of you other posters and site users agree, speak on it.

Agreed!! A mobile app would be very helpful. More content could be uploaded quicker, and more interaction could ensue.

@canceltheapocalypse...They have a Mcdonalds and Pizza Hut app I don't think it would be that hard it could be like a four page app with some cool commenting and replying features

I'm a web designer and programmer. While an "app" might be overkill, something for mobile users is in dire need.

Maybe a mobile silo site? Many sites have an m.sitetitlehere. Another option is responsive web design.

The problem with apps is that they limit the platform that the user can access it from. You have to program the same thing in a few different languages to get it to all platforms.

So with that train of thought, a mobile version of the site makes for sense, because every platform could utilize it. Less work + more users. Sounds great to me.

@Ink. I miss Wizard too! I only use my android too, but it drives me crazy that every time I press on the comment box, it takes me back to the top of the page. If I turn my phone sideways, then back upright it takes me back down. Just kinda annoying.

Keep it coming guys if we scream loud enough they have to hear us...or just close the window...but seriously I really want to see an app or as stated above, a mobile site to go to....Please oh Great Devourer of Worlds. Just this [email protected] went to their supposed website for a year after the publications cancellation and it was under maintenance every tim. I haven't checked back to see what was up because I truly like this one better

Hey guys! We DO have a mobile version of the site coming, and have had it on our "To Do" list for a while, but have a couple of other features that I'm working on that have been given higher priority.

Believe me, we hear (and feel) your pain on the mobile front. Be patient, it's coming :)
