One of my favourite characters is Ironman...
...but I don't find him very relatable, because I can't build a suit that flies or I'm not and never will be a billionaire. No,what makes a character relatable to me is a character that touches your soul. A character that might be going through the things you are or reacts in the way you would. My most relatable character is Jamie Madrox,The Multiple Man.
What makes him relatable for me is actually how flawed he is. He has the power to make a hundred of himself and defeat any threat but when it comes to decisions he just doesn't have the answer. He has faced tragedy after tragedy, but what makes him such an inspirational character is the fact that he always finds a sense of humour in it.
I've personally been through tragedy after tragedy. I was bullied in school both physically and mentally. I had my head split open after one of them rammed my head off the corner of a steel locker. Then I moved to a new one where I got on fine until I injured my arm. I've just come out of hospital after a year of pain yet I still don't have the use of my arm back but it's characters like Jamie Madrox that inspire me to have a sense of humour about it.
So here's my question to you. Who's your most relatable character and why? And what's your most favourite moment by them?
