This is an endeavor I’ve been working on for a while with y’all in mind. I’ve recently started a podcast that follows, analyzes and discusses the growing number of shared movie universes based on comic book superhero properties called The Movie Multiverse. I think any one of you would really appreciate the discussions we have – but you’ve got to be ready for a lot of content because we are incredibly thorough. Very beefy episodes. Our first four episodes explore the first installments of each of the most prominent four shared comic book movie universes right now: the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the DC Cinematic Universe, the Fox Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Sony Spidey-verse. All our episode so far explore the films in these series’ with an in-depth recap/review. We’ve just finished doing episodes for every MCU movie culminating in the podcast that we just posted for the Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Something else I’ve done for the website to accompany these episodes is started a series of infographics based on these films. They’re in a similar vein to a couple of them that I did a few years back and posted here and here. Below you can see a movie release timeline that reflects the current continuities of the four movie universes (click to enlarge)

I’ve also done a character connections infographic for the first installment of each of those four shared movie universes. Those can be found below and if y’all like them then I can keep doing them and posting them to this site so please give me some feedback – try to take it easy on me though, as much as I’d like them to be they are far from comprehensive and really just give an overview of basic character interactions and group affiliations. Mild spoilers for these films by the way (click to enlarge)

You can find all these infographics and all of our podcast episodes at MovieMultiverse.com or you can also subscribe through iTunes by searching “Movie Multiverse podcast” – so please check out what we have to offer and let us know what you think through comments, reviews or direct contact on our website. Without such a strong and passionate fan community, I wouldn’t be as motivated as I am to produce these kinds of things so thank you guys!

This is pretty neat, man! Kind of funny when you have this to compare the studios. Because WB is kind of behind right now, hopefully they announce something soon enough!

Very cool man, very very cool.
You know what would be sick? A character connection graphic of the whole MCU, although that may be imposible to read.

@DanMcNice

Thanks man! I actually did do a pre-Avengers full MCU character connections chart here:

But it would be much crazier now...
