TOP 5: Singers I'd Like To See Perform The Theme For BOND 24.

With the recent rumors of Sam Smith handling the upcoming BOND 24 theme song, I'd thought I'd make a list of some of my personal choices for who I think should handle the next theme. Come check it out!

With the recent rumors of Sam Smith possibly doing the song for Sam Mendes' upcoming James Bond sequel (BOND 24), I've decided to take a few moments and comprise a small list of singers/songwriters whom I'd like to see tackle the task of creating a Bond theme. So please, take a few moments to read and let me know what you think.

Please keep in mind, these are in no particular order.

SAM SMITH

Sam Smith was recently rumored to be providing the theme for the newest Bond movie and honestly, I'm in full support of this decision if it proves true. Sam Smith has a pretty smooth, deep voice and I think his vocals would be FANTASTIC on a Bond theme.  He's also English, so...that helps.

JOHN NEWMAN

John Newman's song "Love Me Again" was recently featured in the credits of the Tom Cruise vehicle "Edge Of Tomorrow". There's a reason why. The song is great. I'd be pretty happy if we could get a Bond theme filled with the awesomeness of "Love Me Again". Also, much like Sam Smith, John Newman has a very deep voice, which would likely lend itself well to a new Bond theme.

MUSE

Muse is an English rock band. A few years ago they released an album entitled "The 2nd Law". The album was full of songs that had a very Bourne/Bond feel to them. Hence their inclusion on this list. "Panic Station", "Madness" and "Supremacy" all bolstered a strong, spy-like vibe in my opinion and thus why I think Muse would be great as the performers of the next Bond theme.

MICHAEL BUBLE

I know what you're thinking. "Michael Buble? But Michael Buble sucks!"...I know, I know. Most of his music really only appeals to middle-aged women during Christmas season, but every once in a while he releases some quality stuff. As is the case with his cover of the song "Cry Me A River". Check it out below. It speaks for itself.

LANA DEL REY

Lana Del Rey has a pretty good voice. I think she was originally attached to the BOND 24 theme at one point, but somehow became un-attached. Her voice is very smooth and I think, if paired up with the right producer, Del Rey could deliver a Bond theme on par with last year's Skyfall theme.

Anyway, these are some choices. I don't know if they're the best, or the worst, but they're the ones I'd like to see take on the job. Let me know what you think in the comments. Let me know what you think and who YOU'D choose to perform the next Bond theme.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

I can definitly agree with Micheal Buble. If we're lucky maybe he'll do the next one. But hey, im happy with Sam Smith as well. Either way, good editorial. You got a thumb up.

God I fvckin hate Michael Buble. How am I the only one? He's a mediocre cover artist and not much more to me.

But I agree with the rest of your list.

Always though Supremacy sounded like a bond song and I'm sure any of the artists would do fine. Though I'm not sure if John Newman's style would fit with Bond. Maybe I'm not familiar enough with him but he seems a little too bouncy, though I'd be interested to see what he comes up with.

Solid choices sir!

Heisen, you like Michael Buble?

But in all seriousness, that 'cry me a river' song does have that classy bond feel to it. I would be down for Buble doing the next bond theme.

@Lozzy

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. I don't "like" Michael Buble. I wouldn't call myself a fan and I don't have any of his music on hand. If a song of his came on at a party, I'd likely step outside for some fresh air and wait till it was over before going back in. BUT I do like this one specific song. It's got a cool sound to it. However, liking one song doesn't not mean I like him as a whole.

My liking of Buble lives and dies with this one and only song.

Also, that was a fantastic use of that gif. Possible my favorite use of it thus far. Good job.

You have some interesting choice's. I like them all except for Lana Del Ray, not really a fan and her music isn't my taste.

I think Lana is the perfect choice, I don't think Video Games is the best choice to showcase her Bondesque sounding voice though lol , this song sounds like it came straight from a Bond film
