Punisher 2 Details Emerge

2004 portrayed the Marvel franchises foray in to the world of the Punisher, and surprisingly found themselves a hit success. News is slowly making its way out on the sequel, slated to be released sometime in 2008.

Set to be directed by Lexi Alexander and written by the team of Nick Santora, Kurt Sutter, Matt Holloway and Art Marcum, the movie begins filming September in Montreal. While Ray Stevenson (Rome, King Arthur) will take over from Thomas Jane as the lead role (Frank Castle/The Punisher) the studio behind the production is currently casting for supporting roles.
