This movie is a mix between Commando and Saw. The Punisher slaughters his victims in ways that would make Jason Voorhees proud. This movie is NOTHING like the first movie and is way more true to the original origin and character of the Punisher from the comic books wich is a good thing. I thought Ray Stevenson did a descent job as Frank Castle even though I don't think he physically fits the role. If they plan on making a sequel then I think they should do it a.s.a.p because Ray looked really old and i'm sure he won't be getting any youger. The first film was more plot oriented but the problem was it had nothing to do with the Punisher that I grew up reading. This one pretty much comes out and punches you right in the mouth with a huge dose of Frank Castle rage from start to finish. Its not Iron Man or the Hulk but its alot of fun amd worth a trip to the theatre.
