AVATAR Cosplayer Uses Shockingly Realisic Body Paint To Transform Herself Into A Movie-Accurate Na'vi

There's a huge amount of excitement for Avatar: The Way of Water to splash down into theaters this December. With thirteen years having gone by since the first movie was released, we have no doubt the VFX will blow us all away (even if the story is as middle-of-the-road as the first one), but could we one day see the Na'vi brought to life with real actors?

Chances are that won't happen unless Disney World adds the aliens to their character meet and greets in Animal Kingdom, but this awe-inspiring body paint delivers a finished product that's nearly identical to the Na'vi we're used to seeing on screen.

Shared by Reddit user rednamrahC, the self-portrait shows how the cosplayer - who goes by "Charr" - has transformed herself into one of the iconic Avatar characters. The results are jaw-dropping, and a quick look through her profile shows equally as impressive efforts based on heroes and villains from The Boys, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and more.

As we're sure you'll agree, it's a fantastic effort and one that brings the Na'vi into our world! Take a look at the photo below and stay tuned to SFFGazette.com for the latest on Avatar: The Way of Water.

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.

Directed by Avatar helmer James Cameron and produced by Cameron and Jon Landau, Avatar: The Way of Water stars Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet.

To whet audiences' appetites, Disney/20th Century Studios will re-release Avatar in theaters on September 23. As for Avatar: The Way of Water, that arrives in theaters worldwide on December 16.

"could we one day see Na'vi brought to life with real actors?"

As much as fun as cosplay like this is, I don't ever see them get close to the animatronics in Animal Kingdom. That's just scary how realistic those are

Hate how modern movies are swapping characters, when I grew up the ninja turtles were green

It's okay if there's no news. You don't need to scrape the bottom of the barrel and find any excuse to post big titty cosplay girls.

"could we one day see Na'vi brought to life with real actors?"

There is a show from Cirque du Soleil called Toruk since 2015 with a lot of actors playing Na'Vi

I think I'm learning I need to avoid this site on the weekends. The front page stuff is becoming more questionable.

I'm looking forward to Avatar and all, but this should be on their SF gazette or whatever its called...

@UniqNo - It was there yesterday or the day before. If it doesn’t get views on the other sites than he pushes them to this site so he’ll get traffic. 2 days with no comments on the other site guarantees a repost here without a mention of the other sites post.

@Deklipz - that or he's sponsoring her? Or maybe even getting paid from it. I'm pretty sure that's how these Internet girls get a plug these days.
