Remember the Brothers Strause's (Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem) Skyline? It was crappy but the ending was kind of a cliffhanger, that is why  we are getting a sequel titled "Beyond Skyline".

There is not a release date for the sequel. It is going to be directed Liam O'Donnell.

What do you think about this? Did you like the first movie?

Finally. The first half of the movie was a bit weak for me, but the ending just made the movie. I was just disappointed we didn't get to see more of the alien form the male lead took on. No we will... Hopefully

I actually enjoyed the first movie so I am pumped for a second even though I know it will be horrible. Oh yeah the first one was bad as well.

I remember the first movie was funded with the money they earned from doing the FX of Battle: Los Angeles , glad they are getting chance to to do another one, hopefully it will be better than the first.

Oh dear God, Skyline was bar none the WORST movie I've ever seen in theaters. Literally, the worst. Not even an exaggeration. The ending was ballsy, but still absolutely terrible. I still want my money back from that...

The first movie is a pile of trash. Literally one of the most laughable alien invasion movies I've ever scene, the ending especially is incredibly hilarious

The first one is TERRIBLE. Not just is it plot bad, but it's badly filmed as well (the DoP is an insult to cinematography), badly acted, and the ending is a poor attempt at a cliffhanger that feels like an incredibly forced deus-ex-machina

Wasn't there a lawsuit between the makers of this and Battle L.A. about using the Special Effects of one of them to make both?

I thought the first was actually pretty good. It kept me on my toes and there were a few surprises. I don't have any idea what a sequel would look like, but I am intrigued.
