The hunter will become the hunted according to the latest Kong: Skull Island promo video. It seems the mysterious Monarch has records on Tom Hiddleston's Captain James Conrad. According to the short vid, Hiddleston is playing a former British Special Air Service who served with Australia's Special Forces during Vietnam and now operates as a hunter/tracker.  However, it appears that when Monarch sets him up to track down Kong (or whatever they're looking for on the uncharted Pacific island), the hunter will become the hunted.

"All Hail The King", this March, when Kong: Skull Island is released in North American theaters on the 10th.

ABOUT KONG: SKULL ISLAND
Kong: Skull Island is an upcoming American monster film directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and written by Dan Gilroy and Max Borenstein.  The film originally started out as a collaboration between Legendary Pictures and their new distributor, Universal Pictures.  However, Universal allowed Legendary to move the film to Warner Bros. in order to set up a crossover film with Godzilla.

The film is a reimagining of the King Kong franchise and will serve as the second film in Legendary's cinematic kaiju universe.  It will feature the largest King Kong ever depicted on film.

Comprising the all-star cast are Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Brie Larson, Jing Tian, Toby Kebbell, John Ortiz, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, Shea Whigham, Thomas Mann, Terry Notary, and John C. Reilly.

Cameras began rolling on October 19, 2015, in Hawaii. Kong: Skull Island is scheduled to be released in North America on March 10, 2017, in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D.

Let's hope it's not as terrible as the last Godzilla movie.

That last Godzilla movie was my favorite. I sat as close as I could (without affecting how well it looked) near the front at in IMAX screen, in 3-D. And enjoyed all of the POV shots the director did, to help us see, for the very first time, what looking up a Godzilla might actually look like. It was a great opportunity to give us glimpses of this before they show him in his full glory later. I don't think anyone was happy about Bryan's character dying, but I didn't see the film because of him. I saw it to see Godzilla, and the director showed him to be better than he has ever been done before. I don't really care about the rest of the plot. It wasn't important to me.

Tom will get over it. So will Brie, Samual, John, and the rest of the cast. No need to apologize. It won't cause any problems with them.
