Deadline reports that FOX's heavily dino-driven show, Terra Nova has been cancelled. After the end of the first season in December, many fans of the show were wondering when it would return (or if). Deadline earlier reported that the chances of the show returning were high.
According to Deadline, FOX tried many different ways to restore the show before ultimately deciding to cancel it. The main reason it was cancelled is because the show was very expensive, relying heavily on CGI and its large cast of people. Even though FOX will no longer be making episodes there is still a (small) chance that it could return, but with a different network. Deadline reports that the producers of
Terra Nova, 20th Century Fox TV, are going to try to send the show to other networks.
