Tomorrow marks the 26th anniversary of Terminator 2: Judgment Day and to celebrate, Distrib Films US has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming 3D re-release of the James Cameron-directed masterpiece, which will exclusively hit AMC Theaters on August 25.
The new trailer is essentially a featurette of sorts as Cameron, in a new interview, offers up plenty of exciting reasons to revisit "one of the greatest sci-fi films of all time" when it checks back into theaters later this summer and he makes quite a compelling case when he points out that since the film came out over two-and-a-half decades ago, an entire generation of fans have yet to experience the blockbuster on the biggest screens imaginable.

It has been 10 years since the events of Terminator. Sarah Connor’s ordeal is only just beginning as she struggles to protect her son John, the future leader of the human resistance against the machines, from a new Terminator, sent back in time to eliminate John Connor while he’s still a child.
Sarah and John don’t have to face this terrifying threat alone however. The human resistance have managed to send them an ally, a warrior from the future ordered to protect John Connor at any cost.
