@BlackBeltJones - From what ive heard he is in rehab and Arnold says he would be willing to train him. Plus im pretty sure they said they left John Connor out of this film to leave open the possibility of his return to the role

And some people act like woman just now started getting the spotlight, Sarah Connor was just as important and bad ass as the T-800 in Terminator 2

plus most of the Terminator films in between 2 and this one had Arnold but not Linda, people wanted Linda in Terminator 3.

@mreed - Another Great. My personal favorite female bad ass is

while Joss did have a message he was trying to get across, his main focus was good stories, character development, and giving all the characters, including men, time to shine

Linda's presence feels so forced in that trailer... I don't know how else to describe it. It literally looks like she's screaming "the studio is on its last leg with this franchise and really needed me back for this one, I just thought eh wtf not".

It can't be worse than The Predator...but it looks like their gonna try. Points for ambition.

Who wants to bet they pull a gender swap in this?
Joan Conner, anyone?

Great featurette, much better than the actual trailer imo and maybe something like this should have been released first. Love what Cameron and Miller were saying here about how this movie picks up where T2 left off and how fans of the franchise will feel.

The trailer didn't really give much of a sense of a place in the timeline considering that this is supposed to be the direct sequel to Terminator 2. Is it set a few years after, many years after and does John Conner play any part in this?

I'm guessing we'll get a bit more of that in future trailers.

@bcom - this I believe is supposed to be set right after Judgement Day. JD gets delayed in T2 due to the destruction of Cyberdyne, so...

Mackenzie Davis looks way too much like Stuart from MadTv. It's unsettling.
