With production well underway, the Terminator franchise seems to be back on track thanks to the involvement of Deadpool's Tim Miller and series founding father James Cameron. After the recent failures of Terminator Salvation and the undeniably forgettable Terminator Genisys, their inclusion is a welcoming breath of fresh air for the dormant series.
The Terminator reboot is expected to return to its roots, a gritty, R-rated science fiction film for the masses. Both faces old and new are joining the 2019 film, with Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger reprising their iconic roles, while Mackenzie Davis and Gabriel Luna take on new ones. The latter was spotted on set of a Cyber Cafe recently, with fans providing the first look at the antagonist.
