Doctor Who will return with the 50th Anniversary Special on November 23rd, filmed in 3D. It will be directed by Nick Hurran ('Asylum of the Daleks', 'The Girl Who Waited') and written by showrunner Steven Moffat. 'The Day of The Doctor' will be 75 minutes long and will get a limited worldwide cinema release.

Still would liked to see the other doctors included in some form in this movie. They might be and it's just a surprise. Here's hopin'.

Rumor has it that the 7 minute minisode, "The Night of the Doctor", showing during Red Nose(Red Button? Sorry, I'm Captain Naive from the States), will feature McGann regenerating into Hurt.
MAN, I hope that rumor is true. The 8th Doctor deserves another screen appearance. The '95 TV movie sucked, but, he was a SOLID Doctor.

Introducing the other Doctors poses a few issues. Most are either dead or way too old(and fat). 9 didn't want to come back. 8 is iffy.

You know the one thing Tennant ask for when cast was a sweet trench coat. I certainly hope he isn't wearing one because Smith's doctor decided to sport one. That would make me one unhappy Whovian.

Matt's gaping mouth thing remains silly as [frick]. Good to see Tennant back in the role. Loving the Not-Doctor's whole swashbuckling/militaristic look.
