I enjoyed the movie for its era. It still blows my mind Marvel and the whole world really tried to sweep Spawn and Blade and other black iconic heroes in film under the rug to push a narrative Black Panther was the first superhero character on film. Completely dismissing and disrespecting groundbreaking like Wesley and MJW.

Spawn has the same big flaw as the Robocop character: Cool but no one would want to become him.

Spawn and Robocop are re-animated dead guys with no dicks. Even as great as Robocop was, the fact that kids would never want to be Alex Murphy prevented the character from becoming hugely popular. Also, no where to go with sequel stories. Spawn is the same. You can get one nice story out of him but people are not going to keep coming back to relate to a zombie with super-powers.

@PartyKiller - I guess that's why the Spawn comics did so poorly. Because people couldn't relate to him?

Oh, wait.

@PartyKiller - Also, Robocop had 3 movies. He was popular.

@PartyKiller - Say what now, you don't need to relate to something to be interested/entertained by it.

I Love You Man is one of my favorite comedies of all time. Both Rudd and Seagal were so on point in that movie.
