First Officially Released SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME Still Comes From An Unexpected Source

Following the release of the first trailer yesterday, an official image from Spider-Man: Far From Home has debuted and, well, product placement is the name of the game! Hit the jump to check it out...

Following the release of the first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home, we can probably expect Sony Pictures to cool it on the marketing front until after Avengers: Endgame is released.

A Super Bowl TV spot is possible, of course, but we probably won't see magazine spreads, stills and more footage from the sequel until the Spring. However, the first official image from the movie has now been released courtesy of...United Airlines?! As you can see, it's very much promoting the services available on their planes (which will be featured in the movie).

Needless to say, it doesn't tell us much about Spider-Man: Far From Home but, uh, Economy Class sure looks cramped!

Peter Parker and Ned Leeds' friendship will seemingly continue to take centre stage in this movie and seeing as Harry Osborn isn't part of the MCU so far, it will be interesting seeing how that develops. What do you guys think of this still? Share your thoughts below!

Mysterio looks amazing and he seems really likable in that really limited clip. Also I wonder if they are taking some some inspiration from the ps4 game i noticed the charity is a homeless shelter that Aunt May seems to work at. Either way I have high hopes!

@Dajugrnot - you found him likable based off of one sentence and quick action shot? lol

@Snowbirdd - “‘he SEEMS really likable” I don’t know that he is. He does help spidey fight the elementals and that is what a likable person would do. Those two things are together are called a first impression.............🖕

I think Ned and Betty are dating in this. Good for Ned, it's gotta be the hat. Or he put his hand on her shoulder and say "heyyy".

ASM 212 on the boat... small Easter egg? If so, anyone know what the 212 could mean? An issue number? What happened in 212? Maybe first appearance of Mysterio?

@Santanaonfire - Amazing Spider-Man #212 was the first appearance of Hydro-Man.

I had a realization last night. It's not a good idea to go on field trips with Peter Parker. 3 out of Spiderman's 4 MCU appearances all have shit going down during a field trip. Homecoming had the field trip to Washington DC, Infinity War he was on a field trip to the Museum of Modern Art, and obviously in Far From Home hes on a field trip to Europe and such. Even in Civil War he traveled with Ironman using the Stark Internship as his cover which is kinda school related. How much you wanna bet Homecoming 3 will have another field trip?

It would make so much sense if this happened right before infinity war.......
