SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME - Check Out Some Hi-Res Images Of Those Recently Revealed LEGO Sets

It's no secret that LEGO sets are notoriously unreliable in terms of "spoilers," but they've frequently provided first looks at characters and have shed at least some light on story beats. Now, images of the Spider-Man: Far From Home sets have been officially released in hi-res and they're...spectacular!

We don't have a release date for these yet, but at least a few more details have been revealed.

There's "Molten Man Battle" (294 pieces), "Hydro-Man Attack" (471 pieces), and "Stark Jet and the Drone Attack" (504 pieces). Perhaps the most noteworthy reveal here is that Zendaya's character is indeed known as "MJ" and clearly a new take on Mary Jane Watson. That's bound to be controversial among some comic book fans but isn't a huge surprise.

After all, Marvel Studios has taken some major liberties with the source material since day one, but they've still managed to remain true to the spirit of the Friendly Neighbourhood superhero.

As I watched BvS for the first time, here's how I PRAYED the end-credits stinger would play out: As Lex sat in his cell, we're shown a mysterious figure walk towards it with the camera following from behind. The camera slowly pans up to reveal the back of a bald head. It pans around to show the face of BRYAN CRANSTON who is the REAL Lex Luthor that's been in hiding (for whatever reason). He looks menacingly at Eisenberg and says something like, "You're grounded, JUNIOR."

I pray something like that plays out with this "MJ".

@tylerzero - so you want lex to come out and tell MJ she's grounded?

@tylerzero - or you want a wayyyyy older MJ that is old enough to be peter's mother to come out and tell this MJ she's grounded?

The twist in "Captain Marvel" was nice and unexpected.
The twist in "Far from Home" is already given, for any Spider-Man fan. :(

@OuzoPowerMan

Unexpected is a bit debatable.

I can’t believe phase 3 is almost over. I’m curious to see how Far from home will start phase 4 and what the next saga will be going on from here. A small part of me wishes I would have gotten to see the original six interact with the x men and fantastic four.

I'm not worried about MJ not being white but why did they have to completely change her character?

@Ryguy88 - I see her as more of an update. She'd be shunned if she still had the mentality of a lady who says you just hit the jackpot by being with me in 2017. She may even still hit the line, but I'm sure it'll be in a more suitable context that makes her charming instead of narcissitic. My two cents...

The pop-ups are getting ridiculous. I can't even comment without having to exit out the whole browser.

Anyway, the MJ thing will have people in an uproar for sure. They'll call the movie bad, regardless of quality.

I don't necessarily understand why they'd do it like that, but if they make her a better character than Sam's MJ, who was an awful human being, then http://giphy.com/gifs/animated-community-spanish-NCjISbEPFxm48
