Grand Toys International Signs Spider-Man 2 Deal. The theatrical release of the sequel to the 2002 Spider-Man movie is scheduled for July 2004, and Grand's product line will be available to retail by mid-May 2004.
Jason Mars, Director of Merchandising for Grand commented, "This product line is a natural complement to Grand's existing line offerings of Spider-Man products. We are very excited to get this line into retail, and we believe that the timing of the Spider-Man movie sequel coincides perfectly with the back-to-school selling period."
