This looks SCHWEEEET!!!

One of the few Marvel characters I always followed and loved. This movie looks like it'll beat out the 3 Tobey films.

But the first Spidey film was a classic. Good luck trying to top that.

First id like to say @Hulk2008 what kind of dam pic is that to post? Showing someone hanging from a tree is nothing to joke about.
Second...who the hell monitors this site, where something like that can just sit out in the open? Images like that r very offensive and I find it shocking that no one else has a problem with it. Very disappointed in this site today.

still not sure about the "spidey pumps" they might be edited out in the final cut, but I think they clutter the suit too much as of now. The suit in general though, I can live with it, but I would prefer something more traditional

Jesus how long is this shoot. I'm reserving thoughts on the costume at the moment because because I wanna scream it looks shit. But I'm sure it won't look like that in the finished film.

@ TheIntruder- I agree that pic definetly makes the costume look sweet, but I will forever have burnt into my skull the Spidey-groin-to-villain's-head image. That's the type of thing that sticks with a guy.

I know its for the stuntman's safety but is he going to be seen wearing kneepads and a nut cup in the final cut? These are important things to protect for the longevity of your superhero career but it doesn't really mesh with what we're seeing in the comics.

Definitely digging the spidey suit. Looks a lot better during night time. Im really excited to see how spidey's webswinging will look like in the movie.Maybe more aerobic swings and web zipping than inthe Raimi's films

REALLY not digging the suit. Not gonna say shit suit, because in pictures like the one intruder posted it looks descent. (Though what the [frick] were they thinking with those hideous gloves, Spidey has always had red hands.)

Hopefully when the trailer hits it looks better.

@ thewolfx The Comic suit is not one of the best comic suits ever. It was as stupid as any other suit of it's time. Peter has had several costume changes and many of them better then the original.

Though I do agree to some degree! They could have done better with the costume, if not then why change it? But I support the costume and peoples opinion of it. I'm sure I would have loved it if it was featured in the comics.

This is the best the costume has looked in set photos IMO, much improved from previous images, but I'm still not a fan of this suit. I'm sure the movie will be good, but this suit looks kinda silly to me, mainly because of the leg stripes. If they removed those leg stripes, and added a belt in there, it'd be a vast improvement IMO, and on a par with Sam Raimi's costume. The absense of a belt sorta feels like Superman without his underwear on the out side; it seems bare, and the transition from red to blue seems unnatural. Plus, he has webshooters, meaning he needs web cartridges. Where's he storing them? Up his ass? The belt is needed for practical AND fashionable reasons (as for a belt under the costume, it'd stick out in real life)
