We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead. It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp...

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn.

Put a better horn on it and that would've been perfect. Looks like the plate-ish skin of a Rhino.

Rhino really needs an upgraded suit for the sinister six film.

Its funny to know they were originally going to go with the tasm 1 suit before they decided to not have some balls and keep it. Or at the very least, give an in film explanation as to where the new suit come from. Cause that tie in comics is just dumb.

I know I'm pretty alone here, but I really liked TASM, and I didn't hate TASM2 as much as everyone else. I just hope that the future movies redeem this franchise. It's not like it isn't possible. Look at the X-Men movies...

Especially since im one of those guys who really likes his suit in TASM 1. It looked pretty cool in the film.

Eh not to big a fan of this design. A lot of this art was on the "Making of" documentary on the blu-ray.

I've watched TASM2 6 times now and I still really dig it.

The Rhino looked like he fell out of a bad Japanese anime.

Then again i also think Horner and Zimmer should have worked together on the score for TASM 2. TASM 1 had some really good tracks in its score. Like Saving New York. Saving New York KICKED ASS

I liked the direction the first movie was going with, I don't know why they felt the need to listen to the haters and drastically change the theme.

Like the concept, don't think a big horn would make sense in live action, would it? Really, why the [frick] would it have a horn unless he was biologically changed into part rhino? Which of course they could of, but I like the mech-suit, think it's super cool imo...

Is it just me or does the goblin have straps on his head as if was going to wearing a mask instead of the acne problem.

Well I thought it was a good movie. Entertaining, fun, with some heart. And Spidey was done flawlessly. But hey, if you think my avatar makes me bias, you're probably right. That being said, I proudly loved the movie!

^Rhino has a slot machine in his ass? What is going on here? Robot Rhino is a huge mistake, stay away from that garbage. And why call him 'Rhino' if you only give him a nub horn? Did he get poached or something? I think the Judge Dredd/Robocop Rhino is interesting it would have been 1000% better then what they did have. But he needs to have his horn. It's like Spider-man without his webbs. It's a iconic element he has to have.

@Mrcool210 I agree. I hate the fact they switched up costumes, because I loved the suit from the first Amazing Spider-Man.

Call me crazy, but, if the rumors of Spidey being rebooted for the MCU are true, I say give it to Justin Long. Saw one of his movies today and it just hit me out the blue how perfect he is for the role.

And I dig the suit. But, like someone else said, all the concept art is so much better than what they chose for the film. Cocaine is a hell of a drug though...

The changes this film made to characters and story are smaller changes than Marvel is making to Ant-Man. Doesn't look good in my opinion. This film was utter garbage, I can't imagine how bad Ant-Man is going to be.

Hey there @jimoakley666.

Funny thing. My actual name is timoakley. No Satanic nomenclature attached to the the end of it but still......pretty cool right? I mean here you are jimoakley666 and here I am timoakley(potential future sight of demonic nomenclature). Actually, it's more like Tim Oakley(nomenclature pending), not timoakley(*NP). But still.....pretty cool right? ACTUALLY, if I think about it; my middle name is James. So, if I wanted to, I could adopt James as the name I use instead of Tim. THEN, I could choose a shorter variation of James(I think you can see where I'm heading with this). I could essentially become a jimoakley(*NP). You notice I say a jimoakley(*NP) not "the" jimoakley666. At this point , I'm just trying to find common ground not usurp your rightful place as master of your universe.

Apologies. I'm really behind on my sleep and I've begun to babble like a loon. So sorry.
(*NP-Nomenclature Pending)

I'm pretty sure at this point we all agree that any 'humanoid' version of the Rhino would have been better than what we saw.

Outside of the inherent charm of Garfield/Stone/Field, there is no part of this movie that I actually liked.
