TASM 2: A badly written, not objective, quick review that antagonizes all other reviewers

TASM 2 has gotten a lot of mixed reviews but I have decided to offer you a new perspective of the movie that will hopefully give you a middle ground for some of the most debated subjects from the movie.

Review Opinion

So yesterday I watched TASM 2. I didn’t plan on doing a review but I’ve been reading other people’s articles about this and realized that I had a very different experience with the movie and so here we are. This isn’t a complete analysis of the movie. I’m not an objective person and could never do something like that. I’m an artist in the making and so I take everything as a lesson and a source inspiration for my work. You’re not going to get a good idea of what the movie is from this article. All that I’m doing is giving you a different perspective of some points that people have been arguing about. This won’t be well written either. I’m not going to spend time doing that because this like I said isn’t a well thought-out analysis of the movie. This is merely an article that you should read after watching the movie and reading some other reviews so that you can avoid being influenced by other people’s opinions. I don’t expect to convince anyone that I’m right, I just want you to find a middle ground. Now let’s get to it shall we.

The movie wasn't bad. It was reasonably good in my opinion (there were reasons for everything that has been criticized). I don't think that it will be memorable right now but my opinion might change later on. I have to take some time to process it and re-watch it. There wasn't anything bad about it. There were some things that weren't strong but there were reasons for that. It did have a lot to do (though it didn't do as much as I wanted it to) and considering that it handled it well. The story moved in a unique way. The movie made everything that it did memorable (there's a difference between the movie being memorable and it having a lot of memorable moments) but it didn't seem to explore a lot what was happening. That makes sense though because it represents what Peter sees the world like at this stage of his life. A lot of big things happen in his life and he doesn't have a lot of time to think about them because it happens so fast. There isn't much time for him to explore these things. That most likely wasn't intentional but it is a part of the movie. I without a doubt liked the movie but I didn't love it. I change my opinion a lot so I might end up seeing it in a completely new way and start to love it. That wouldn't have to do with the movie itself but with my ability to capture it.

It did set up a lot of things that I'm looking forward to seeing though I'm not super excited. That's just part of my mood really because you will most likely be excited about them. I'm quite interested in what's going to happen and I already have some unique ideas about the third movie.

Some people think that it was cheesy but that also makes complete sense. Max Dillon and Peter are geeks. They like to act in fantastical ways and are sometimes naturally cheesy because of that. If anything it's an advantage of the movie, not a flaw. The Green Goblin's look also makes sense. I would've liked him to have a different look but he probably shouldn't. Most transformations make the guy look cool and you wonder why he would hate being like that but the goblin looks just like a monster. You would never envy him and that's how it's supposed to be. Maybe you could do both things but I'm not sure how.

A lot of people feel that Electro wasn’t written well because he wasn’t sympathetic or

I also like how they tied up everything. There was only one moment where it seemed strange how one moment followed the other but it's not a big deal. Everything else might've seemed strange sometimes but made perfect sense.

I think that there are still a few things missing from the untold story but that's why it's a trilogy and not just a series of movies.
