The problem with the movie is juggling the villains. It really should have just been a Harry movie. Electro was pointless.

I dont understand the hate of this. Was it amazing? No. it was OK. Bit too much romantic stuff and Electro was kinda pointless. But the relationship between Goblin and Electro was awesome and made me look forward towards Sinister Six.

But the movie is NOT as terrible as Josh want it to be.

The acting and action was great. The story, pacing, and tone was all over the place and it really weighed the movie down to the point whee I didn't enjoy it, and I was looking forward to this too. Very disappointing.

Honestly I don't know your reasoning for hating, maybe because it's sony?! I don't know.. But this movie isn't bad, this movie is just ok this movie is actually good...

Electro isn't pointless, Rhino wasn't pointless want to know why?

People are complaining about the Rhino, and are missing the point, the rhino isn't actually supposed to be one of the main villains in the film, this is an introduction to his character and what is wrong with that? He is in the beginning it's cool that we get to see him before he's the rhino and teasing at that character and than again at the end of the film.

Electro? Pointless? Same deal but they gave him more of a story that goes with the movie, Harry is sort of the main bad guy in the background, but electro Is what seems like the main bad guy

Like what people think will happen with batman vs superman, obviously they won't be versus each other the whole film, they will probably team up to beat lex luthor. Lex will be the "main" villain but the movie will focus more on superman and batman fighting

I'm so non-interested in Spider-Man anymore... from the comics to the movies... From Raimi's crap cheese fest to Webb's hipster Parker I can't stand it anymore. Why in holy hell can't a filmmaker like Nolan make a Spider-Man film, why??????!!!!!!!

Saw last week I didn't like it. It was okay but it was way over hype. Nothing special wanted more but was left empty. Its a fun movie but nothing great. Cap. America.was way better

I wasn't really a fan of the first movie, so I have a lot riding on this, since I'm a big Spidey fan....don't wanna be stuck with a medicare Spidey universe, lol. Just hope I like the movie..dont care about the reviews.

My grandfather was a thespian, that makes me quarter thespian. Who are these dudes? They look like they just rolled out of bed smoked a bowl and then went to see a spiderman movie. I really don't trust their judgment. These movies are [frick]ing terrible. Although, I do like Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man and I liked his costume in this film. That is it though.

It was absolutely rubbish, I thought Josh was being intentionally hyperbolic after that review, but he was spot on. It was a mess and nothing more than an updated Batman and Robin flick doctored with the Spider-Man brand label. My interest in the third film or any others has almost completely evaporated.

Lost interest in the movie. I'll see it but I think I'll only like the acting and action. I think it'll make a lot of money but it'll be worse than SM3

Watched it today once again Webb manages to balance some great scenes with some utterly pointless ones, resulting in another perfectly average movie.

And it still feels like a re-imagining of Raimi's movies rather than a new take o the comics

These guys are annoying as hell. Also the guy on the right totally lost my attention once he says he loved the first film.

I saw TASM and I would give it 3/5 only cause Garfield really is the best Spider Man (Tobey was shit) and there are some cool scenes but the film was almost SM3 level with how many villains they were covering. Also the very end was bullshit. I wont spoil it but it was bullshit on how fast Peter gets back up.

Every negative comment I read on the site makes me want to see this movie even more. Almost all of you sound like you're just pulling excuses out of your ass.

Dont think the number of villains was the issue though just that Webb dosnt have a clear grasp on what motivates his characters.

Things just happen because, even Anakin's fall in ROTS was more authentic than what Webb served up with his villains.
