Allison Mack will reportedly join Michael Rosenbaum and return for the Smallville finale that will air on May 13th. Mack had originally signed on for five episodes with the last one being last Friday's Fortune. TV Line is reporting that Mack has now agreed to appear in the two-hour finale as well.



I personally can not stand the Chloe character, but it is nice that she is coming back since she has been such a big part of the show.

That sucks, shes basically become the new Lana, a character that won't stay consistent and has changed far too much from the character we use to know and love.

Cool stuff, it wouldnt be the same if she wasnt in it in some capacity.
However, Lana's story is OVER, they ended that in a way which means she wont be back. If they insisted on her returning for the finale, it would only work in maybe a reminiscent flashback to the first episode where she says the "man or superman" line, or if she has a cameo at street level watching clark flying as superman.

This could go either way. I am one of the neutral people about Chloe. Either she could do a lot of help and NOT get knocked out in the last episode or she will just fail at being Oracle

So Michael Rosenbaum and Allison Mack are back and probably Annette O'Toole too? They're definitely choosing the right characters to bring back for the finale. All three of those characters (Lex, Chloe and Martha) and Lois need one final big scene with Clark for the finale to help him become Superman. They cover 4 big parts of Clark's life (Nemesis/Villain, Best Friend, Parent and Girlfriend/Wife) that make him the hero he needs to be. Bring on Superman! I've been waiting 10 years for this.

I never watched this show. But I'll definatly watch the finale, I want to see Darkseid and I want to see Clark wear the suit.

If it's a 2 hour episode then I'll take it as a self contained Elseworlds Superman story.

@TheBurn-i think its because she doesnt appear in the comics, as far as i know, and that boters them cuz shes not supposed to be there. i like her too, and she has helped him become who he is today, for better or for worse. I was hoping, at the beginning of the series, that something would happen to her and she would have to change her name to Cat Grant, because she was a good writer, but oh well. cant wait for the finale!

i love chloe but i think her character should die at the end, i think it would make the ending more emotional and powerful for Clark. oh and like i said before, she looks hot in that pic;)

@TheBurn She use to be VERY popular among smallville fans, but her character has changed just sooo much from how she acted in the first 5 seasons. I mean seriously wasn't it last year or season 8 that she LITERALLY smothered a man who was lying in a hospital with a pillow and killed him!!! theres always some dumb plan or hidden agenda she has that shes not telling anyone.

@deadshot- yeah, that makes more sense. she has changed a lot. i kinda wish she was still the naive young reporter she was earlier in the series, rather then the secretive commando whos 'training' clark and oliver without them knowing and who seems to have ties to everyone that wants to take them down

She had a super power for a year remember? You know it was a small little power I guess I can understand why you could forget, I mean it was only the power to BRING PEOPLE BACK FROM THE DEAD.
