Kryptonsite found on Twitter that it looks more than likely Annette O'Toole who plays Clark's Mom, Martha Kent, will be returning for the Smallville finale.

O'Toole from her JimmyJindo Twitter account tweeted this:

The first hour is yet to start shooting of the Smallville series finale and Vancouver starts with a V.

all I can say is bring it on I been dieing too see this season finale its too dam long ten year of the making to see tom becoming superman its killing me and they better make it good for all the pain they put us in watching the show and clark and lex let that be epic and well done right

I'm just gonna say right now. I don't care what anyone here (who's against Smallville) says, this show is AWESOME! Great cast, characters, heroes, villains, and stories! I know some stories and actors are better than others, but this show has gone for a record breaking 10 Seasons! That right there proves that it's great! Love this show, it will be missed.

Actually "Batman" ran three seasons and "Adventures Of Superman" ran six, but your right "Smallville" is the longest running comic book hero show. I'm gonna miss it.

Back when Batman was on TV there was like 3 stations. It lasted 4 years. The CW/WB network has always been crap and that's the only reason Smallville has lasted. With 300 channels there's a lot of dead air to fill. The show sucks! Can't wait for Snyder/Nolan's Superman film.

O'Toole is hot though!

CapFan79....The CW/WB maybe a crappy network but smallville and Supermantural has their better shows that I only watch. Snyder/Nolan's Superman film is going to suck.It's full of shit.

It's suppose to be: "Truth and Justice and the American way..."

I prefer the women with the uncovered super hero things. Annette O' Toole be one of the women who fill that category. And I say that with a capital TOOLE.

Guys @ It wouldn't of lasted 10 seasons if it wasn't for the first 5 or 7...

But yeah it'll be missed and ya never know CW will probably do a spin-off show and hopefully a 2 hour METROPOLIS movie!

Really rpintor1? I'm as American as they get, but a British actor won't ruin this. Bale is a Brit and does a convincing American accent for Batman and Nolan was born in England, but he grew up in Chicago. None of this matters if the film is made with the right spirit of Superman. I'd rather have a Brit than a gay Superman like Bryan Singer's!

@CapFan79: I completely agree with your statement! No offense to the gay community but Singer's Superman is very gay!! He looked it and came across as gay! When I figured out that Singer was gay it was a big "Oooooooooooooooohh!!!" It all made sense after that.

I don't give a rats a$$ that Cavill is British. I just want a true and manly Superman, and I know that Cavill will deliver. He was very manly and had the potential and presence to make a great Superman in The Tudors! That was all I could think of every time he showed up on screen, and this was before he was even cast. I know this movie will be the greatest CBM ever! Yes, I do believe it has the potential to be better than TDK.

I remember before Smallville premiered, WB was planning on do a simular show but with Batman aka Bruce Wayne, it wouldve chronicled Bruce Wayne right after his parents death, and how he dealt with it and school, also him training how to fight etc...pretty much the first hour of Batman Begins into a tv series, but of course with more teenage agnst. The shows name was supposed to be "A Boy named Bruce"...but it never went through. Then WB took that idea and used it on Superman and Smallville was born.

Let's not forget that Wonder Woman also has Supes only other weakness, and I'm not talkin about the green stuff. Before the 'fight' even starts, all she has to do is jump up and down to get it bouncing, or depending how classy she feels, strip -- game over! After all, he is a REAL man, right?
