Let me 1st of all say that this article is intended for Smallville fans not people who dislike or detest the show, so please "check yourself before you wreck yourself". Am a big fan of Smallville and I know I ain't alone, besides the story line, action and worth not that keep us glued, memorable quotes are interesting trivia (I mean you never know when you might meet one of the co-stars of the show right). Here are some of my favourite lines by Lex, Clark, Lois, even Chloe made the cut, (bear in my mind am a big fan of Lex and I don't remember all the names of the episodes the lines are said in).
Lex Luthor: "you were right about me all along, Mr. Kent.I am the villain of the story."
Bart: "I want a lawyer."
Lex: "And I want a ponytail. Disappointments abound."
Lex : "Clark, you were tied to a pole in the middle of a field. Even the Romans saved that for special occasions." (I know its season 1).
Clark Kent: "You know, it's funny to think that they used to be best friends, and now they're worst enemies...do you think our friendship would ever turn out like that?"
Lex: "Trust me Clark, Our friendship is going to be the stuff of legend." episode (Hug).
Chloe: "I want to let you in on a secret, I'm not who you think I am, in fact, my disguise is so thin, I'm surprised you haven't seen right through me. I'm the girl of your dreams masquerading as your best friend. Sometimes I want to rip off this facade like I did at the spring formal, but I can't because you'll get scared and run away again. So I decided it's better to live with a lie than expose my true feelings... my dad told me there are two types of girls: the ones you grow out of, and the ones you grow into. I really hope I'm the latter. I may not be the one you love today, but I'll let you go for now, hoping that one day you'll fly back to me because I think you're worth the wait."
Clark: "Lana."

Lex: "No offense, Clark, but I don't think you could outrun my Porsche."
Jimmy: "Regardless, you call Clark before you dial 911. I mean, what's he gonna do, dismantle the bomb with his great hair?"

Lex: "For one, you called me a tool!"
Lex: "If sleeping with you was business, I'd hate to think what that would make you"

Lex: "I know. But if one person could do all that, he'd be a formidable enemy. He could conquer the world. He could become a tyrant if no one kept him in check. So I've been thinking...anybody who'd be willing to fight him would have to be pretty brave. Clark, did it ever occur to you that the hero of the story...is Ziget?" (from the episode Talisman)

Clark: "Trust me, Lex, I don't want to be here either. But after what you've done."
Lex: "And exactly what did I do? Did I swat a fly with too much force?"
Lana: "Okay, well tell me something."
Lex: "What?"
Lana: "Anything, just keep talking, okay?"
Lex: "Think I’d look better with hair?"
Chloe: "Oh, my God. I just knocked out Martha Kent."
Lois: "Hello? The woman was about to wallpaper her living room with my brain matter."
