Sweet find @ BLUE! ; )

@ Leee

Yea but with the help of Kyptonsite and Ksite.

Yea man it is what it is but hey you never know. The promos seem to show that the arrival of Apokolips stops the wedding imo. TW for the finale has continue to hint that Superman finishes up by himself, so who knows. But one thing is for sure, we know where this year's budget went and it was the right thing to do. And Pa Kent handing CK the suit is dope.

For a show that says "no tights, no flights" .... it's really annoying how much they allude to the suit. If they're going to talk about it so much they should have had the respect to give us more than one episode (by one episode I mean probably less than 1 minute) of it. I get it, Smallville is the story of Clark Kent... but he's a reporter for the Daily Planet in METROPOLIS and engaged to Lois Lane... give me a break.

Of course I'm going to watch the finale, I'm excited.... but you'll never hear me say this was a good show. No respect for the fans.

Don't know what to think about Chloe reading a Smallville comic to a kid. Otherwise this had got me pumped.

I read many moons ago that the "no tights no flight" rule WB put onto the show so was to tie it in to the Superman Movie that never happen, the one Kevin Smith was attached to at one point... as that superman wasn't gonna wear the tights nor was he gonna fly.... that and budgets costs on the flight stopped them

@LEEE - I'm with you up to a point, about Lois 'knowing'. But I think it would have been much worse having her there for 8 (I think) seasons and she STILL HASN'T FIGURED IT OUT!!!
Compared to the blasphemy of Darkseid's and Doomsday's apperance, I can live with this tangent.

With Smallville, you can't get caught up in what "should" happen. The writers threw all of that out and just picked and chose what they wanted to use when they wanted to use it regardless of the order of things in the classic story.

It's generally the same with most other comic book adaptations. They pick what they want and make up the rest. You can't get all caught up in it.

it'll fail, but i'll still watch a few parts of it (only because it's finally ending). I really hope he doesn't wear the suit, or do anything cool. It'll be a hilarious kick to the balls for the few (blur) fans who stuck around and watched it.

I tire of this build up! Show the finale already and let everyone feel the grand anti climax as he will only fly right at the end and it will be in a cheesy blurred red/blue/yellow image and he will only where the costume once also.... thats all we get from 10 seasons 2 hours of what we wanted in the 1st season lol

I say bring on the new movie and lets get back to the main attraction enough of the intro!!

daljus- That can't be true because the Superman film Kevin Smith was working on was back in the early 90's it was called Superman Lives and had nothing to do with Smallville. Tim Burton then took over and cast Nic Cage as Supes.

Smallville's original plan was actually for a Batman TV series, however with many different Batman projects in development they decided to go for Superman instead.

@Blueorangeny, thank for posting the videos! Looks spectacular! I wasn't all that excited by the idea of the wedding-finale, but that looks pretty badass!

Wow, I actually like the idea of them creating the comic, and Pa Kent handing him the suit!?! FFFUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKK YEAH!!

I still have the feeling I'm gonna be let down, but I have hopes that the show can redeem itself on friday.

PLEASE DON'T [frick] US OVER ONE LAST TIME
daljus

the person driving that Superman lives is a guy named Jon Peters, who wanted no tights no flight.... and tim burton was gonna do that and hey were still developing that idea for superman when smallville came out.... I read in a interview years and years ago that WB wanted smallville as some kind of launch inot the tim burton superman lives smallville was the orgins, Superman Lives the loose follow on...

To Me it appears Gough/Miller stuck with that until tim Burton left that project and stated to follow a more "canon" line of things after that but kept no tights no flight for other reasons(lawsuit against DC for rights of superman, superboy rights went back to the creators/budget costs)When they left and the other producers took over the no flight rules i noticed where relaxed a lot and a lot of hints towards a suit started to come forward...

TW early on didnt want to put on the Suit so there could be that... hence why now we will finally see him in it... and i think it will be more than just a few seconds....

other thing i noticed it appears Jonathan Kent is back alive... and if that little boy at the start of the second promo looks like the same little boy at the end of one of the other promos... someone should grab screen shots and see if they are the same kid or not

I said it in the past, the show is what it is. Filling the weekly void of that comic book fix. Soon Marvel fans will also be complaining on how the Hulk show is.

For all the ignorant turds....consider smallville a completely different universe in comparison to the comic books....we'll call it the "ultimate universe" of DC where origins are changed and characters go through different motions at different times
Marvels ultimate universe superheroes each had many changes done to their characters and origins and i ddnt hear anybody b.i.t.c.h about it....so what if Lois knows about Clark along with other stupid crap such as Doomsday etc....Smallville gave u everything they could take from the comic books and threw it into a whole new world of Superman....they only brought in such characters such as doomsday because it doesnt matter who clark fights after Clark Becomes Superman because we'll never see that part of the show anyway.
Stop complaining already and accept the fact that smallville tried to bring a fresh new take on this character, UNRELATED, but references the comic book universe and kept him alive and fresh in everyone's minds for all these years....haters dont understand the fact that smallville has limitations on what they can use from the comic book universe such as BRUCE WAYNE and many other characters....its not there fault that they cant please everyone because a higher power prevents them from giving u exactly what the comics has
The comic books made many changes to character we all love and smallville did the same....no crime in that....some ppl hated the changes and some ppl loved em....tough....its a cruel world
