Bald cap? No he's just smarter come on people it Lex Luther. Saw the suit :). Don't know, when he pulled the crystal and the light went out in the fortress, it seemed like we've seen the last of the fortress with the suit remaining there. God I hope i'm wrong. He better go back, get it and wear it . It's the only way the series can end, Clark with the suit on and for more than a couple of seconds please. We will see. They will either ruin it or make it an EPIC ending.

@Knightstalker- LMAO!! Veeery true my friend. That's what they did also in the season 7 finale, just stood around and argued in the Fortress of Solitude.

I would like to see Lex actually whip out the kryptonite ring and fight Clark but Smallville blows. Fu*k them

Gee, let's see...
Doomsday: taken out in about 5 mins of screen time. HUGELY anticlimactic.
Darkseid: One episode to take him out. And still leave enough time for an emotional 10 minute argument about how Clark should've trusted Lex, and how Lex is evil, blah, blah, blah.
Meanwhile, we've wasted episodes this season on magic-induced benders, and other similar nonsense? This finale will be such a disappointment. Unless your one wish in life is to see Tom Welling in the suit (in which case I pity you), prepare for a giant steaming pile of excrement next week.

Judging buy what has been put out thus far, there won't be much of the suit anyways.
If you want to watch a TV show where Clark becomes Superman your better off watching the first episode of Lois and Clark.

with SMALLVILLE and it's kinda sad to see
it go!

Oh, well all things must come to an end.

Yup, this last season has been quite anti-
climatic and a lot of the epie's have been
just plain frivolous falderol!

DARKSEID barely made a showing!

This season has been good, sorry. I also like how you mention the awful Doomsday fight but purposely ignore last year's finale with Zod. Of course, since that was one of the best fights in the series, it would only hurt your point.

I have a theory about how Clark wears the suit.

In the last episode "Prophecy" The orion bow gets broken and thats the light that can defeat Darkseid now if you watch the second recap trailer of all the seasons just before the winter break there was a scene where light hits the suit. Im going with the fact that the orion bows light hits the suit and making the suit the new force to defeat Darkseid and it would totally work. Just a theory though.

Ofcourse they could just screw us over, but hey even one of the promos shows the superman logo and says "Believe". Dont let 10 years have been for nothing

Anyone else disappointed in these last few episodes? It seems that most of them (aside from last Friday's) have just been "fillers", not really tieing up any loose plot strings from the past ten seasons or even progressing this seasons story lines. As much as I hate her, shouldn't we have had one episode clearing up the Lana and her "super-skin graft" story that has been left unfinished?

Looks to me like the finale will be another let down with Darkseid never being anything more than a mist, and maybe five minutes of screen time for Lex Luthor's return, culminating with just a few short moments of Clark finally flying and wearing the "S" at the very end of the episode.

The writing over the second half of this last season has been very weak.

@WarmachineXIII I like it. I agree with the awesomeness of your theory, but it seems to good to happen.

It would be great, it would mean a fight with the suit, and it gives the suit a more special meaning and purpose in the finale. As if it needs any more.

We can only hope, or Believe as the promos tell us.

@Zeo: Yes, Clark and Zod's battle was entertaining. But shouldn't the baddie for an entire season have a fight that lasts longer than 5 mins?

I found the finale entertaining, but I was totally right about the length of time it would take to defeat Darkseid. What was that... 30 seconds if you don't count the 'memories montage'? The time that Superman fought Darkseid in the JL Unlimited finale(?) was infinitely better. Good grief, he took a single choke and a punch... real huge battle. Again, I was entertained, but it was sorely lacking.
