If the buzz translates into truth, Smallville star Tom Wellington may just be heading to the big screen to portray the role that made him famous on TV.

Entering its 8th, and possibly final season, long-running TV show Smallville has made a star of Tom Welling, and even has the endorsement of the late actor Christopher Reeve, who was quoted as saying Welling would be ideal to play the part in film.

No, No, No! Maybe for the Smallville focus, but once he arrives at Metropolis he should be more mature looking. I like the TV show too, but I just don't see Tom Welling in the outfit. For one thing, his hair is all wrong. Something they could probably change through makeup and hair stylist, but his jawline is too weak, his lips too full, neck too thin. He just looks too young. Better off with unknown actors who share similar looks. Two actors that look like two versions of the same man (one young, one older).

PLUS THIS DUDE IS BUILT TO PLAY A BUFF SUPERMAN. I HAVE HEARD THAT HE IS ON BOARD FOR JUSTICE LEAGUE. . . IF ANYONE KNOWS IF THERE IS ANY TRUTH TO THIS PLEASE LET US KNOW.
