Kryptonsite found out via Turi Meyer's Twitter this morning that him and writing partner Al Septien are penning future adventures of CW's own vamps at Mystic Falls.


The two have been writing and producing for Smallville since Season Five.



LEEE777 - Well all I can say is good luck Vampire Diaries, not than I watch it, its hardly True Blood but I wish the two guys all the best even though I'm more of a fan of early Smallville, when it actually was in Smallville. That all aside, looking forward to the finale how about you?

Not gonna lie, The Vampire Diaries has quickly become one of my favorite shows. Has a lot of character to it, lots of humor. I enjoy True Blood but this does give it a run for its money, I think.

Yeah im kinda worried now that they might ruin the Vampire Diaries. Damn it... I really like the Vampire Diaries... Ill be pissed if I see another remake of the Hangover and this time on The Vampire Diaries. I seriously cant believe they did that shit...

Not the strongest writing pair on the 'Smallville' staff (ex staff) but they could really produce some good material on the Vamp Diaries.

Yep, Leee@, I watched the very first episode
of VAMPIRE DIARIES to try at least to give it
a chance but I turned it off half way through!
Just Gawd-Awful! It's even worse than TWISHITE,
I know, I know, pretty hard to believe but it is!

There's no way the SMALLVILLE writers can make
this piece of cheap TV trash worse! LOL
HOW SAD, CW has gone completely to TRASH!

anyone who just watched the first episode or two cant base their opinion of the show on them, i had to watch with the girlfriend and thought they were pretty bad but had to watch them, they got better with each episode, so much so that now i look forward to the show as much if not more then my girlfriend, i recommend that anyone who can catch up on the show and suffer through the first couple of episodes should, it is a show that is deinately worth watching, only bad thing is the whole dog werewolves which i think is stupid and it is really nothing like twilight which i barely finished the first movie with no thought of seeing the others

Heh its funny how its says they've been writing and producing Smallville since season 5 right around the time it started to SUCK!!! These writers ruined Smallville and now they're gonna ruin Vampire Diaires.

hehe, nah its really good, u should check out several episodes, write around 4-5th episode starting getting alot better. besides if it sucked i would prob suffer through it just to keep the better half happy, much easier that way (not to mention i would like to keep getting laid) LOL

I don't remember the name of the new show but this isn't surprising because the people currently doing Vampire Diaries will be doing another show on the CW Network.

Although I was kind of hoping they would have ended up on Wonder Woman.
