ecksmanfan Reviews Superman/Batman Public Enemies.

With all the high quality animated feature films that both DC and Marvel are releasing, how does this one stack up?................

I would like to think that this film is/was one of the most anticipated animated features to be released in quite some time, and I believe that it was worth the wait. All of the elements came together on this one to form a fantastic and fun film to watch.

I want to start with the animation for this film. It has a much different look to it, almost a retro feel. Both the main characters had a look that is reminiscent of the earlier art from the comics. We are so used to the Superman and Batman of the Justice League series, this was a nice change.

I have not read this story, so I can't comment on how the film compares with the source material. However, I can say that I thought this story was great. It was fun and entertaining to watch. The many fight scenes were done very well and there are plenty of them to watch. Great use of the characters and it was fun to see so many of them in one film. Needless to say, the voice-over work was second to none.

All in all, I'd definitely say this is one of DC's best yet. I really liked New Frontier and was pleasantly surprised by the Wonder Woman film. That being said, I think this one just moved to the top of the list.

Bring on the next one!
