With the animated film Superman Unbound being released on May 7th, Warner Bros. has issued a new clip that focuses on Molly Quinn's character of Supergirl, as she attempts to rescue Lois from kidnappers.

The film, written by Bob Goodman and directed by James Tucker, is based on the Geoff Johns Brainiac story in Action comics. Matt Bomer voices Superman, with Stana Katic as Lois Lane and John Noble as Brainiac.

I'm not loving the animation... pretty much all of the other DC movies are better.

Good story trumps bad animation anyday. Hell, I have seen some wonderfully animated shows and movies where the story sucked ass.

Animation may not be the best but it certainly is far from the worst. I expect another great animated movie from WB to add to the collection. This then Flashpoint coming up! Can't wait for both!
