Crisis on Infinite Earths - how DC should combine all their TV Shows and Movies into one epic Multiverse

Will DC crossover the Arrowverse and the DCEU?

My hope is that someday the DCEU movies will crossover with the Arrowverse.

The Flash TV show has confirmed the existence of parallel universes so all we need is for a DCEU film to discover them.
With Lord & Miller writing The Flash film they could be the guys to open the connection.

This could all lead to a Crisis on Infinite Earths type movie with TV tie-ins;

  • Earth 14 - Wonder Woman (1970's)
  • Earth 15 - Steel
  • Earth 16 - Birds of Prey
  • Earth 17 - Constantine (movie)
  • Earth 18 - Watchmen
  • Earth 19 - Swamp Thing (movies)
  • Earth 20 - Swamp Thing (TV)
  • Earth 21 - Lois & Clark
  • Earth 22 - Adventures of Superman (1950's TV)

The remaining 29 Earths are free for future Earths such as the Legion of Super-Heroes who were referenced in recent episodes of Flash and Supergirl...

Should it?







As much as you may like Flash, there are lots, I mean lots of flaws in the way characters are written and I don't want it to ruin the movies in anyway.


And Supergirl? Please stop!!!! That garbage should have never had a crossover with Flash, let alone crossover with movies.

@dragonator29 - But that's the beauty of it - The Flash has to leave the Arrowverse to crossover with Supergirl so we get the best of both; a crossover that keeps the two shows separate.

If DCEU wants to explore the idea of parallel universes and alternative earths it already has multiple pre-existing properties that can be the separate earths.

A DCEU Justice League film sometime down the line that explores a Crisis style story could be amazing.

@mook - Honestly you have no idea how I hate Supergirl.

But leaving the hate adise, lets think, will this multiverse crossover actually work. There are literally hundreds of characters that has to be mentioned. If they were different characters then there's no problem. Calling any 2 superhero who shares a common name, is hell of a confusing.

My opinion, this will work only on paper, i.e comic-book but will not work on live action. We are talking something a storyline much bigger than Infinity Wars in scope.

Remember, Less is More. Going that big doesn't mean its gonna work, or it will be the greatest thing.

@dragonator29 - The way to approach it is that it's a Justice League movie. So it's main thing is to bring together the characters from the DCEU movies to fight towards a common goal.

The fact that this allows them to explore the multiverse concept, have some crossovers with ongoing DC projects (Arrowverse, Supergirl, Gotham etc) and include cameos from previous DC projects (old Batman and Superman TV/Movies etc) is all a massive bonus.

But at it's heart it's a Justice League movie, and so wouldn't have to be a bigger storyline than Infinity Wars.

In S2E13 of The Flash they travel from Earth-1/Arrowverse to Earth-2. Before they enter the Speed Cannon we see glimpses of the Multiverse - including Supergirl, 1990's Flash, Grodd and The Legion of Super-Heroes Flight Ring.

In S1E18 of Supergirl it is confirmed that Supergirl takes place on an alternative Earth. This would suggest that the 1990's version of The Flash is also on an alternative Earth.

While on Supergirl's Earth Barry also mentions an Earth where the Nazis won (which is Earth-X or Earth-10 in the comics) and an Earth where JFK wasn't assassinated (Earth-21 in the comics), so it's not too much of a stretch to say that these Earths are out there in the Mulitverse - after all Barry does say there are 'Infinte Earths' out there...

That leaves the vision of Grodd - was it the sanctuary on Earth-2 or was it a version of Earth-17 from the comics; a post-apocalyptic Earth where intelligent animals have enslaved the Human race - or was it another Earth entirely?

Then there's the Legion of Super-Heroes Flight Ring. They are most tied to time travel but maybe they are travelling between Earths? Or back from the future of the Arrowverse? Or are on another Earth?

Therefore I think;
The Arrowverse
Earth-2,
Supergirl's Earth,
1990's Flash's Earth,
are all confirmed Earths,

Earth-X/Earth-10 and Earth-21 are strongly suggested,

Grodd and the Legion will appear in later episodes and be explained then.
