No bull..."Thor" is an excellent superhero movie on par with Iron Man 1, X-Men 1 & 2, and TDK (Thought it was better than Spidey 1 & 2). Anyone who is a fan of this genre is missing out on a rollicking good time if they don't see it in theatres (especially in 3D).

Thor was good, not great. Cool effects and some pretty good characters but no real meaning or threat was ever felt imo. And what way of life on Asgard was being threatened? They didn't seem to be doing anything up there. Still fun to watch though.

Also, Thor's opening weekend means it will have a tough time cracking the $200M barrier, I don't think the studio was expecting that. Still a good haul though, it'll stand to make a nice profit, it's just not a major blockbuster.

^^^ Transformers 1 had a 70 million dollar opening and it still became a major blockbuster so i would'nt count Thor out just yet.

Also Thor is relatively unknown hero so you have to take that into consideration.

I actually have had allot of people tell me "Who is Thor??" I am hoping that once more people go to the movie - and get the word out that it is awesome - that there will be more interest and more $$ made.
