Kevin Feige Seems Confident We'll See THOR: RAGNAROK's Grandmaster Meet The Collector Soon

In the comics, The Collector and Grandmaster are brothers and while that's never alluded to in Thor: Ragnarok, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has now teased a meeting of minds between the two...

Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster is an undeniably hilarious highlight of Thor: Ragnarok but many fans would love to see him cross paths with his brother The Collector. He appeared in Thor: The Dark World and Guardians of the Galaxy and it's easy to imagine the dynamic between Goldblum and Benicio Del Toro's characters being an awful lot of fun (especially if they're also portrayed as brothers in the MCU).

Well, chatting to Fandango, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige teased the possibility of the two meeting somewhere down the line but didn't offer any sort of indication as to where that might be.

"It would be awesome man. It would be great. We love the idea that they’re brothers. If you go on the Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout attraction at California Adventure in Anaheim, you will see a picture on Collector’s wall of he and the Grandmaster playing some sort of a space chess game, which right now is the only place you can see the two of them in a frame together, but let’s hope that changes someday."

Fingers crossed, eh? Avengers: Infinity War or Avengers 4 seem like two strong possibilities but given The Grandmaster's appearance in the credits of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, it's feasible he could show up in Vol. 3. I'd love to see them together. And I don't even know why but the Collector is one of my favourite MCU supporting characters

The Grandmaster and The Collector aren't brothers. They're not even from the same species.

@Supercat6376 - I think the only ones we've actually seen in the MCU... are Eson, Ego, Collector, and Grandmaster. Knowhere is the severed head of a Celestial, but I im not sure if that counts.

@Supercat6376 - well we did get the glimpse... but they're just OLD beings, not celestials. If we're being technical about it.
