New Look At THOR: RAGNAROK Mockumentary From Comic-Con Hilariously Augurs AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

It seems the God of Thunder is still not sure who is after the Infinity Stones, as shown in this hilarious new image from the Comic-Con clip which had revealed Thor's whereabouts during Civil War.

Marvel Studios was light on footage from Thor: Ragnarok during its San Diego Comic-Con panel last weekend due to only five days of filming being completed. However, they did screen a sizzle reel packed with exciting concept art, as well as a hilarious mockumentary which showcased not only the promising humor that director Taika Waititi will bring, but also what the God of Thunder was up to during the events of Captain America: Civil War.

Those aforementioned clips are not expected to be officially released online any time soon, so director Taika Waititi has taken to Instagram to share a hilarious new image from the mockumentary. According to previous descriptions of the full Comic-Con clip, this moment pictured below is from Thor’s “wall of conspiracy theory” surrounding the “purple man in the floating chair” who is after the Infinity Stones. Obviously, this is a serious quest that the Odinson had started in Avengers: Age of Ultron and it continues to foreshadow what’s to come in Avengers: Infinity War, but check out how playfully it was integrated down below.

Really wanna see this.

And I love how the fans who take this stuff way too seriously get triggered by this mockumentary. Let's see who's first to have a whinge in the thread.

Oh yeah, RAGNAROK WILL BE THE BEST CBM IN 2017

The mockumentary was fun. Goofing off, but from what I can tell, the film seems to be about investigating the stones and Thanos and it somehow leads to Ragnarok. Thor promised at the end of AOU he would look into this game Thanos is playing.

My theory:

1. Hela will play the role of Death. Thanos is in love with her.

2. Grandmaster once possessed the mind gem in the comics. Thor must discover he once had a stone and seeks him out thus leading him to the gladiatorial games and being surprised to find Hulk there.

3. The throne room that looked very ETERNALS-ISH is an Eternals locale of some kind and a part of Thanos' history. This is another part of Thor's investigation.

4. Thanos gets Hela and Loki to bring about Ragnarok so the Asgardians are not a threat to his conquest and so he can attain the Tesseract.

-Once Asgard is reborn Loki is promised to reign supreme.

5. The rumored mysterious all powerful device Thor needs could to be The Ultimate Nullifier, which been described as "the universe's most devastating weapon."

-Thanos may wipe out sectons of reality. The Nullifier has the power to rectify that.

Or its the Odin Swird, which can cut through Celestial Armor. Thanos may want it and will destroy Asgard to get it but he soon discovers maybe it's not there. Thor is searching for it too and thus a quest begins. A COSMIC QUEST

@ComicsBornAndBred - Here's a crazy idea- what if the world ending weapon is in fact Fenrir? Not an artefact, but a being? Fenrir's unbinding is said to begin Ragnarok, so it would make sense, and it'd help deviate from the standard Marvel MacGuffin quest.

@ComicsBornAndBred - Does Marvel have the rights to the ultimate nullifier ? Isn't that a Galactus thing ?

@ComicsBornAndBred - The only problem with that is that I think the Nullifier is a FF weapon and can't be used.
