The digital version of Thor: Ragnarok is out now and fans were surprised to see a deleted scene in which Guardians of the Galaxy character Yondu makes an appearance. It doesn't appear to have been a planned cameo; rather, Yondu actor Michael Rooker seemed to surprise everyone when he dropped by the set. Check out the full scene below.

The "Kevin and Lou" that Rooker is referring to are, of course, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios co-president Louis D'Esposito.

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn took to social media to address the deleted scene, explaining it was never actually intended to be used in the finished film.

Michael Rooker confirmed the story.

Although James Gunn has already said he has no plans to revive Yondu in future movies, fans are holding out hope that we haven't seen the last of him.

@Supercat6376 - I hope they don't. Those deaths need to keep their impact. Otherwise you officially lose the idea that death means anything. It was already loose with the MCU but bringing those two back would ruin it all.

@Supercat6376 - Not really due to the effect it had on both Scarlet Witch and Hawkeye.

@LEVITIKUZ - haha, the closest we came to the MCU at that time. But what’s Halle Berry laughing at? Is she in on the joke or just laughing cause everyone else is?

There's probably a mirror, there. Notice Cyclops turns around to look, even though Spider-Man was silent.

Black Panther with a whopping $108 million second weekend. $400m domestic gross already. I say it tops out at 1.2b. It has zero competion for the next two weekends.
