The Wreckers are a sub-team of Autobots in the Transformers Universe, functioning essentially as a commando unit. They were created by Marvel UK writer, Simon Furman. The Wreckers are called upon whenever the odds of success are slim.

The wreckers huh? Knowing them they're probably burn themselves out and face a bitter end like Jazz did in the first one. I hope Devastator will be in the movie. I think they could have utilized him better in the last one. Hopefully Bay has a better story in place.

Any who... For those who are unfamiliar with The Wreckers.

The Wreckers are a special task force, generally composed of the best and the toughest die-hard fighters around. Its ranks are composed of a who's-who of the obscure; mechs you've never heard much about, mostly because the Wreckers are often called in to fight when the odds of success are slim....

Perhaps the most celebrated leader of the Wreckers is Springer, though the memory of his former leader, Impactor, hangs over his head. The team also has vague ties to Ultra Magnus, and its roster often includes the other Triple Changers, the Jumpstarters and the Deluxe Vehicles. The roster of the Wreckers, as noted, is always in flux, and the future will bring leaders such as Apelinq and members outside the usual pool of Autobots, including Maximals, Predacons, and even former Decepticons. But those were pretty weird times.

Man I would have liked to see The Wreckers with Springer, Kup, Broadside, Sandstorm, Topspin, Twin Twist, Roadbuster, Whirl & Scoop. Solo movie would be nice.

I wish they would stop with these bull crap crash dummy characters and give us - uh i dunno, maybe some BELOVED characters!! Give us Perceptor, Blaster, Hot Rod (PLS!!) Cliffjumper! and on the Decept side give me Galvatron (maybe they will actually LET him transform into his REAL alt mode instead of that bull crap with Megatron. ANd was it jus me or in ROTF did Megatron only transform into that cheap "cybertronian" tank jus to ride away from the forest) We want ALT forms that we can RECOGNIZE!! I don't know what a cybertronian fighter or tank is suppose to look like so dont have megatron transforming into one!! Give us Thunder Cracker and LaserBeak. Is that too hard!

Devastator was a [frick] up in the subs in the first one, the tank was supposed to be Brawl.

Id love to see Devastator again in the 3rd one but for alot longer than he was in the 2nd.
