That's actually a pretty badass poster. Too bad we all know the movie is pretty much destined to suck.

CampBlood, You should demand more and expect more from your movies. In a time where comic book movies are actually being taken seriously, where summer blockbusters actually have the capability of being smart AND fun, where people's standards for movies are the highest they've ever been...what excuse do these Transformer movies have for being so mindlessly dumb and occasionally offensive (racist, sexist, homophobic, pick your poison)?

I saw a toy version of him recently as a silver knight. what's up with that?

I still love how Optimus is the size of a T-rex, and he's riding Grimlock making him about 4-5 times the size of an actual T-rex.

Rather a robot humping a woman's leg than "I'm Trevor. I am an actor."

Tranformer dinosaurs? That makes no sense. Of course, neither does a sophisticated (yet shitty looking) piece of walking talking tech wielding a sword.

(And I pretty much just copied monkeyballs)

I'm not saying I don't enjoy intelligent thoughtful movies. but sometimes I like a big dumb action movie like this or expenadbles . I would blow my brains out if every movies was some pretentious conceited nolanesque film.

I'm 30 and a part of me still yearns for a big cheesey action like the Arnold movies from back in the 80s and early 90s

I watch online 9 times out of 10. just watched edge of tomorrow which in y opinion didn't deserve to flop, it wasn't perfect but it was entertaining

@SauronsBANE1: And audiences take the Transformers movies seriously, too. They don't have their heads shoved up their a** and act f*cking smug as hell, like an elitist snot bag. People act like all the Transformers movies are simply big, loud, and explosive summer movies (which they are), but, if they'd get over seeing Michael Bay's name there, they'll see there's more to these movies.

QUESTION: Does Grimlock & The Dinobots actually transform or not?!?!

We gotta remember, big, dumb, soulless blockbusters are simply a part of life as moviegoers. If you can't shut your brain off every once in a while, you'll miss the pure adrenaline and enjoyment of these films. They're fun. Plain and simple. Yes, the plots are redundant, the acting is cheesy, but the visuals are always amazing, and they make you feel like a kid again.

It's not like any transformers cartoon ever made was deep, thought-provoking, well-written art house tv. It was mindless crap that 10 year olds loved.

@Darlene

In the cartoons, yes. In the movie, we don't know yet.
