From Michael's blog"

"Steven Spielberg sat next to me in a big 100 person theater at Sony today. There were 98 empty seats. The lights came up after we just watched my cut of Revenge of the Fallen. He turned to me and said
"It's awesome". He felt this movie was better then the first - and probably my best, who knows - at this point in a movie you start to lose your objectivity. I just hope the fans like it. I'm going to start putting it in front of audiences in a few weeks - no you are not invited, yet.

We have 60 days left. Let me tell you it will be a race to finish. It's 12 at night and we are still working here in the edit room. Everyone at ILM and DD are killing themselves right now, they are doing a stellar job on the effects. We also just finished our trailer which is coming out with Wolverine. Talk to you soon.

Michael

It would have been better had Speilberg leaned slowly toward him halfway through the film and whispered: "What's with your obsession with robots and lips?"

I love how they are rolling this movie out. All we have so far is one kick ass trailor. They are not giving us everything up front. I hope they stick with it untill the movie opens. Everyone knows its coming out, and we dont need to see everything before the movie opens. Im glad Bay is doing it this way. He is keeping the suspence as long as possible.

I saw on another site that the run time is 2hr 27min. Freaking Sweet. The more the better. 4 mins longer then the first, if its as good as the first, they could go for 3hrs and the movie will still kill at the B.O. I have a feeling this will be better, becasue it wont take 40 mins to get to Optimus and friends. Should be all out robot war from frame one.

I am only looking forward to seeing two films this summer. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Terminator: Salvation. I think Terminator is going to be the runaway blockbuster. Handsdown. It looks sick. Better than T2. Forget T3. That movie was a joke.

"You remind me of a younger me, not too much younger mind. Perhaps even a couple of years older" - Zap Brannigan - Futurama.

No relevance, just like the quote and saw an opportunity to use it!

"We're gonna fly this ships brains out!" - Zap Brannigan/Futurama.
Doesn't really fit in. To be honest, it doesn't fit in at all, but, it's funny.

MICHAEL BAY IS THE NEXT STEVEN SPIELBERG OF HIS GENERATION

@Gunsmith

All I have to say is Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Not so sure that because Spielberg says it's good it is.

parascythe im going to go ahead and take that as a joke ok?

Bay is a hack that got lucky with Transformers because it does not require a whole lot of human drama or emotion. All of his other movies feature cack handed plot, direction and performances more robotic than the frickin Transformers. All he does well is explosions..and since nobody gives a [frick] about the characters being blown up anyway, whats the point?

Speilberg is one of the greatest directors of all time. He is also guilty of too much spectacle and schmaltz at times but at least when he makes action movies they have heart. But he shines when making movies like Schindlers List, Jaws, E.T, Close Encounters, Minority Report, Saving Private Ryan, Munich etc..what has bay ever done that comes close? Bad Boys? Pearl Harbor? Shiiiiiiiiiiit!

I still like that Giant Robot in the new Terminator flick more than i like Devestator in the new TransFormers. As cool as it is to have the complexity of these robots I am still having a hard time actually seeing them as parts that make a whole.... all the robots Decepticon and AutoBot just look like a whole lotta parts. STill cant wait to see it blur by me though.

when you have someone as passionate as Michael Bay and even Spielberg, you know your getting your moneys worth when your waiting for the movie to begin. I cant wait to see this movie.
