Linkin Park, Nickle Back, and Theory of a Deadman, worst bands ever. God I have lost all faith in most mainstream music of today.

Where's WEIRD AL YANKOVIC or STAN BUSH?!

lol jk ;)

I'll wait till after the Movie, to see if I wanna purchase any of these tune. I didn't really care for "What I've Done," until they played it at the end of the first Film.

I would like (for nostalgic purposes) to hear "DARE" or "THE TOUCH" in maybe TF3! :)

@ Betty, Grif - Shit on a stick?..Hopefully you're not talking about LP..

@ Stumblin - And what is your ideal of a band should be anyway?!... Name them.

*sigh* people these days think good rock music is all satanic mumbling and gibberish..that shit's goofy.

idk who the hell Cavo is and Nickelback isn't something i wanna hear, but everyone else is awesome, what do you expect soundtrack's these days to have on them,Slayer and Gwar? get serious, the closest thing you'll get to that on a soundtrack would be i guess Static-X,and you'd still probally say it sucks

i agree 100% with Minotauro by the way

Transformer Movie/Movie Cartoon film scores by Basil Polidaris and Steve Jablonsky's film score for the live action movie are masterpieces.Their pieces are very well composed considering that they are all very contemporary modern scores. But the soundtracks suffer big time because they are aimed at a much younger dumber demographic of viewers unfortunetly.

I can tell you that most of those so called "musical bands" on either of the Transformers Soundtrack are Just SHIT!!!. Their live performances are a joke. Besides I have standards to uphold as a lifetime Metalhead

UP the F#CKING IRONS

Just because I think the soundtrack for ROTF blows doesnt mean I want to replace it with Napalm Death. I'm sure each song is placed appropriately with each situation. Hopefully the movie will distract me from all the, "I'm a lonely boy on an adventure" music.
CrookedJaw
CrookedJaw - 5/28/2009, 3:53 PM

Hellmont
Hellmont - 5/28/2009, 3:55 PM
@ Betty hey brother obviously not Napalm Death but if you were ever seriously into metal you very well know that there are a large number of professional metal acts out there that can out do and out play any one of these shit bands.

Death
Iced Earth
Cynic
Atheist
Stratovarius
Cryptopsy
Helloween
At the Gates
Symphony X
Dimmu Borgir
Cradel of Filth
Rhapsody
Into Eternity
Spiral Architect
Manowar
Gamma Ray
Pantera

*** The METAL GODS ***
Judas Priest and Iron Maiden

Any one of these bands could shit on all of those bands on the soundtrack.

Megatron kills prime in the movie. He stabs him through his back which pops out of his chest. Sucks.
Stumblin
Stumblin - 5/28/2009, 4:34 PM
Minotauro, how about someone who doesn't suck? They are one of the most untalented, overrated jackasses of today's music. Don't take offense of my opinion, I don't care if you like them or not, but they suck, they use the same formula in every song.

Here are some that don't suck and have talent:

Foo Fighters
Led Zeppelin
AC/DC
Alice in Chains
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Buckethead
Les Claypool
Rush
Rolling Stones
Old school Metallica (because they suck now)

So there you go, bands that don't suck and actually inspired music.

Yeah, you're right you don't have to scream to have rock, that's not rock anyway, it's metal or a form of. These don't scream and yell and what you think is demonic I'm not sure. Anyway, that's my list!

i'm a fan of rock but i also love hip hop. i thought there would be at least 3 or 4 good hip hop tracks. maybe a little bit of kid cudi, kanye west, and lupe fiasco. i think their styles of hip hop would mesh well in this soundtrack.

i like taking back sunday but thats just me, the used is good also

i actually agree with minotauro, that people just think rock nowadays is satanic emo or heavy stuff wen its not, remember the classics like bruce springsteen or eric clapton, queen, kiss ect... but i still like the types of rock music nowadays

Phoenixtorn Haha! Nice avatar too by the way.

Shibazz what are you talking about?

I full agree joob234, however, but like most of the bands on this soundtrack, I can't respect them. The ones I listed, you don't have to like, but still respect because of their influence and contribution to the rock genre. What has Nickelback influence? I'll tell you, they influenced Theory of a Deadman, great grand, because they were so incredibly talented before, so lets make a God awful clone with a different name.

What has Linkin Park done to help revolutionize music? Mix a rock and hip-hop appeal? Yeah, they were influenced by past groups, like the team up of Run DMC and Aerosmith, however, they (Linkin Park) haven't influenced a damn thing. You can take lyrics from one of their (Linkin Park) songs and match it up almost perfectly with any other song, that's pretty uncreative.

I don't know, I have an issue people praising these mediocre bands as if they amount to something when they're no better then my brother's garage band back in high school. It's music dribble that take takes advantage of the feeble minds of the youth of today to think, "This is what good music is." Now that in itself is debatable, however I'm not debating good vs bad as in terms of style, just in terms of talent, and they have none.

Emo music is not rock, it's Emo (or Emo rock, which I find absolutely ridiculous), satanic (which I could only guess you're referring to metal) is hardly just associated with the King of Evil, and it's not rock, it's just that, Metal.

When you refer to "people just think..." what age group are you talking about? Because yes the majority of the younger audience is naive when it comes to music, hence why I haven't listened to the FM radio for over 5 years now, because it pisses me off.

Ok, I'm done ranting, and please don't take what I said personally, it's just my opinion, and I don't care what you like or don't as you probably don't care what I like, just giving out my two cents about what I think good music is/isn't. Now I'm broke.

I love Theory of a Deadman, ever since the first spider-man soundtrack.
The Video is for lee, it's not the one on the soundtrack, but it has boobs.

ReddHotPoker - 5/29/2009, 12:26 PM
Why is the guy from Journey singing on the animated Transformers movie soundtrack? That song has nothing to do with the action!

Not only that, but how come none of us thought it was kinda dumb back then that a 40 foot tall (?) Megatron could transform into a handgun that's 1/10th his original size?

Alien robot or not, that's physically-frickin-impossible!

The soundtrack for the new one is so horrible it's starting to make me think that "ROTF" stands for "rolling on the floor"
KeepItReal
KeepItReal - 5/29/2009, 12:34 PM
Shibazz... "Alls i knows is that WonderWoman Could Kick Storms ass andy day of the week,"

That's right! you tell them... I got your back!!!

Stumblin: "where did this Wonder Woman vs Storm come from?"

Myth said it on another thread: Fox Says No To Wonder Women And Lara Croft.. Myth said: "@KeepItReal: Storm whipped WW's ass in Amalgam. What you think about that! nyah ;P" so not right!
